Abstract
The issue with basketball athletes in the area lies with their accuracy in shooting. The purpose of this study is to provide information on the coordination of eye contact drills for athletes at Bee Soldier Academy Basketball. This is a descriptive statistical quantitative study with a quasi-experiment pretest-posttest two-group design, using purposive sampling with a sample size of 30 individuals. The study was conducted in two locations, and data was collected through a shooting skills test where participants were positioned at cones provided by the coach for 30 seconds. The results showed a significance level of sig. (2 tailed) = 0.000 > 0.05, indicating a difference in average shooting results between the experimental and control groups. The independent test revealed a significant impact on the accuracy of shooting in the experimental group that received eye contact drill treatment. With a sig. (2 tailed) value of 0.05, H0 was rejected, and Ha was accepted. The implication of this study for coaches and athletes is that eye contact drill should be applied and modified during practice to focus on the smallest details and improve shooting accuracy.

| Additional Information: | Permasalahan yang terjadi pada atlet bola basket didaerah itu terletak di tingkat akurasi shooting yang kurang baik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan informasi terkait koordinasi gerak eye contact drill pada atlet Bee Soldier Accademy Basketball. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif statistik deskriptif dengan desain penelitian Quasi - experiment Pretest-Posttest two group design dengan menggunakan purposive sampling dengan sampel sebanyak 30 orang. Lokasi penelitian ini di dua tempat, serta teknik pengambilan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan tes keterampilan shooting dengan cara sampel diposisikan berdiri di cones yang telah disediakan oleh pelatih dengan durasi waktu 30 detik hasil penelitian diperoleh nilai sig. (2 tailed) sebesar 0,000 > 0,05 maka dapat disimpulkan ada perbedaan rata rata hasil shooting antara kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Dari hasil uji independent test adanya pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap akurasi shooting pada kelas eksperimen yang diberi perlakuan eye contact drill. Karena nilai sig. (2 tailed) 0,05 maka dinyatakan H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima. Implikasi dalam penelitian ini bagi Pelatih dan atlet, eye contact drill ini perlu diterapkan dan dimodifikasi ketika latihan dengan tujuan memperhatikan bagian terkecil ketika melakukan shooting dan bisa memperbaiki akurasi shooting. | |||||||||
