Abstract

This study aimed to determine the correlation between self regulation and environmental knowledge with environmental care attitudes of Adiwiyata Hig School students in Serang, Banten. The population of this study was the students of SMAN 1 Ciruas with samples of classes XI MIPA-6 and XII MIPA-2, and students of SMAN 3 Serang City with samples of clasess XI-13 and XII MIPA-2. The sample is determined by purposive random sampling using the correlational destriptive method. This research data was taken using three instruments, including: self regulation isntrument, environmental knowledge instrument and enviromental care attitude instrument. Based on the results of the study, a positive and significant relationship was obtained between self-regulation and enviromental knowledge with an attitude of caring for the enviroment, meaning that the higher the self-regulation and environmental knowledge, the better the students concern for yhe environment

Additional Information: Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui korelasi antara self regulation dan pengetahuan lingkungan dengan sikap peduli lingkungan siswa SMA Adiwiyata di Serang, Banten. Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa SMAN 1 Ciruas dengan sampel kelas XI MIPA-6 dan XII MIPA-2, dan siswa SMAN 3 Kota Serang dengan sampel kelas XI-13 dan XII MIPA-2. Sampel ditentukan dengan purposive random sampling dengan metode deksriptif korelasional. Data penelitian ini diambil menggunakan tiga instrumen antara lain: instrumen self regulation, instrumen pengetahuan lingkungan dan instrumen sikap peduli lingkungan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara self regulation dan pengetahuan lingkungan dengan sikap peduli lingkungan, artinya semakin tinggi regulasi diri dan pengetahuan siswa mengenai lingkungan maka kepedulian siswa pada lingkungan semakin baik.
