Abstract
Liquid organic fertilizer derived from rabbit urine contains high macro nutrients. Based on the results of laboratory tests, it contained of N 4%, P2O5 2.8%, and K2O 1.2%. Rabbit manure both feces and urine can be a potential source of organic fertilizer for horticultural crops. The purpose of this research was to determine the effect of giving rabbit urine POC to red chili and tomato plants on both production in quality and quantity. This research was conducted in the Integrated Agricultural System Area (SITANDU) Curug, Serang City, Banten and in the Soil and Agroclimate Laboratory, Faculty of Agriculture, Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University from November 2022 to February 2023. This research used factorial Randomized Completely Block Design (RCBD) consisted of one factor and three replications. The factor consisted of six levels, namely A0 = 0 mL/L (without Urine) as a control, A1 = 15 mL/L, A2 = 20 mL/L, A3 = 25 mL/L, A4 = 30 mL/L, A5 = 35 mL/L. Rabbit urine POC concentration with a concentration of 30 mL/L on tomato plants gave the best effect on plant heights of 2 weeks after moving plant (WAMP) (28.61 cm), 3 WAMP (38.28 cm), and 4 WAMP (48.35 cm), stem diameter 2 WAMP (4.71 cm), 3 WAMP (6.96 cm), and 4 WAMP (8.08 cm), number of fruit per plant (14.15fruit), weight of fruit per plant (203.32 g per plant), and weight root wet (4.96 g). Tomato plants of the Servo F1 variety gave the best influence on the parameters of plant height aged 2 WAMP (36.50 cm), 3 WAMP (48.10 cm), and 4 WAMP (62.67 cm), stem diameter aged 2 WAMP (5.96 mm), 3 WAMP (9.34 mm), and 4 WAMP (10.51 mm), fruit weight per planting (673,96 g), and root wet weight (6.04 g).

Additional Information: | Tanaman hortikultura merupakan jenis tanaman yang memiliki manfaat dan nilai ekonomis yang tinggi, diantaranya yaitu tanaman cabai merah dan tomat. Tanaman cabai merah adalah salah satu sayuran yang dimanfaatkan buahnya, sedangkan tanaman tomat merupakan salah satu komoditas sayuran terpenting di Indonesia dan memiliki prospek cerah untuk meningkatkan taraf hidup petani. Produktivitas Cabai meningkat dari 1.206.750 t menjadi 1.360.571 t (BPS, 2021). Berdasarkan data Badan Pusat Statistik (2021) dari tahun 2017 hingga 2021, produksi tomat terus meningkat, 962.845,00 t/tahun sampai 1.114.399,00 t/tahun. Aplikasi urine kelinci merupakan salah satu alternatif dalam penerapan teknologi pertanian yang berwawasan lingkungan dan berkelanjutan. Cara lain dalam peningkatan produktivitas cabai merah dan tomat adalah dalam penggunaan varietas hibrida. Tanaman yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah varietas hibrida. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di kawasan Sistem Pertanian Terpadu (Sitandu), Kecamatan Curug, Kota Serang, Provinsi Banten mulai bulan Desember 2022 sampai dengan bulan Mei 2023. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) faktorial yang terdiri dari satu faktor dan tiga ulangan. Faktor yang digunakan adalah konsentrasi Urine Kelinci yang telah diencerkan (A). Konsentrasi POC urine kelinci dengan konsentrasi 30 mL/L pada tanaman tomat memberikan pengaruh terbaik pada tinggi tanaman 2 MSPT (28,61 cm), 3 MSPT ( 38,28 cm), dan 4 MSPT (48,35 cm), diameter batang 2 MSPT (4,71 mm), 3 MSPT (6,96 mm), dan 4 MSPT (8,08 mm), jumlah buah pertanaman (14,15 buah), bobot buah pertanaman (673,96 g pertanaman), dan bobot basah akar (4,96 g). Tanaman tomat varietas Servo F1 memberikan pengaruh terbaik terhadap parameter tinggi tanaman umur 2 MSPT (36,50 cm), 3 MSPT (48,10 cm), dan 4 MSPT (62,67 cm), diameter batang umur 2 MSPT (5,96 mm), 3 MSPT (9,34 mm), dan 4 MSPT (10,51 mm), bobot buah pertanaman (673,96 g), dan bobot basah akar (6,04 g). | |||||||||
