Abstract
This research aims to determine the difference in historical thinking abilities between students who use a word wall application-based evaluation tool and students who use written tests, as well as determine the increase in students' historical thinking abilities in the history subject class XI IPS at SMA Negeri 4 Serang City after using the evaluation tool word wall application based. This research uses a type of quantitative research with a Quasi-Experiment approach method, the sampling technique used is non-probability sampling. Data collection in this research used pre-test and post-test. The results of this research show that there is a difference in historical thinking ability with obtaining a Sig value. (2- tailed) of 0.001 < 0.05, which means there is a significant difference between students who use the word wall application-based evaluation tool and students who use written tests, and there is an increase in students' historical thinking abilities by obtaining a Sig score. (2-tailed) of 0.000 < 0.05 and tcount = 6.843 > ttable = 1.684 then Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected, which means there has been an increase in students' historical thinking abilities in the history subject of class XI IPS at SMA Negeri 4 Serang City after using word wall application based evaluation tool. Basically, this word wall application can be used as a recommendation as a digital learning evaluation tool which functions to determine students' level of understanding of learning material, especially in history subjects, one of which aims to develop historical thinking skills and make it easier to carry out the assessment process.

Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode pendekatan Quasi-Experiment, teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah non probability sampling. Pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan pre-test dan post-test. Hasil penelitian ini memperlihatkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan kemampuan berpikir historis dengan memperoleh nilai Sig. (2-tailed) sebesar 0,001 < 0,05, yang artinya terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara siswa yang menggunakan alat evaluasi berbasis aplikasi word wall dengan siswa yang menggunakan tes tertulis, dan terdapat peningkatan kemampuan berpikir historis siswa dengan memperoleh nilai Sig. (2-tailed) sebesar 0,000 < 0,05 dan thitung = 6,843 > ttabel = 1,684 maka Ha diterima dan H0 ditolak, yang artinya terjadi peningkatan terhadap kemampuan berpikir historis siswa pada mata pelajaran sejarah kelas XI IPS di SMA Negeri 4 Kota Serang setelah menggunakan alat evaluasi berbasis aplikasi word wall. Pada dasarnya, aplikasi word wall ini dapat dijadikan rekomendasi sebagai alat evaluasi pembelajaran digital yang berfungsi untuk mengetahui tingkat pemahaman siswa terhadap materi pembelajaran, khususnya pada mata pelajaran sejarah yang memiliki tujuan salah satunya adalah mengembangkan kemampuan berpikir historis dan memudahkan dalam melakukan proses penilaian. | |||||||||
