Abstract
Balance plays an important role in physical activity in children because every daily activity requires good balance. One way children can develop good balance is by playing the traditional game of egrang. This traditional game aims to shape and develop physiological and psychological functions. This research is an experimental research with a Pretest Posttest Nonequivalent Control Group Design research design. The population of this study was two hundred and twenty-one students at Kamanisan State Elementary School, Serang City. The sample for this research was seventy class V and class IV students at Kamanisan State Elementary School, Serang City. The data collection technique in this research uses tests. The instrument used in this research was the Standing Stork Test. The data analysis technique uses pretest and posttest t tests. From the results obtained, the t test results showed that the calculated t value was greater than the t table value in the experimental class (16.971 > 1.812) at a significance level of 0.05. So it can be concluded that there is an influence of the traditional game of egrang on the balance of experimental class students at Kamanisan State Elementary School, Serang City. If you look at the average pretest score in the experimental class, it is 8.62 and the average posttest score in the experimental class is 11.61. This shows that there is an influence of the traditional game of engrang on balance.

Additional Information: | Keseimbangan memegang peranan penting dalam aktivitas fisik pada anak karena setiap aktivitas sehari-hari memerlukan keseimbangan yang baik. Salah satu cara agar anak dapat mengembangkan keseimbangan yang baik adalah dengan memainkan permainan tradisional egrang. Permainan tradisional ini bertujuan untuk membentuk dan mengembangkan fungsi fisiologis dan psikologis. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen dengan desain penelitian Pretest Posttest Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa SD Negeri Kamanisan Kota Serang yang berjumlah 221 siswa. Sampel penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V dan kelas IV SD Negeri Kamanisan Kota Serang yang berjumlah 70 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan tes. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Standing Stork Test. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji t pretest dan posttest. Berdasarkan hasil yang diperoleh, hasil uji t diperoleh nilai t hitung lebih besar dari nilai t tabel pada kelas eksperimen (16,971 > 1,812) pada taraf signifikansi 0,05. Jadi dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh permainan tradisional egrang terhadap keseimbangan siswa kelas eksperimen di SD Negeri Kamanisan Kota Serang. Jika dilihat rata-rata nilai pretest pada kelas eksperimen sebesar 8,62 dan rata-rata nilai posttest pada kelas eksperimen sebesar 11,61. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh permainan tradisional egrang terhadap keseimbangan. | |||||||||
