Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Museum Nasional Virtual Tour Learning Media on Students' History Awarenessin grade 10 SMA Negeri 7 Tangerang Regency. The method used in the research was quasi-experiment. The research was conducted in class 10 IIS 3, totaling 29 students, as the experimental class and 10 IIS 4 totaling 35 students, as the control class. The research was conducted on February 27 - March 05, 2023. The results of the study are as follows: (1) there is an effect of the Museum Nasional Virtual Tour learning media on students' historical awareness, hypothesis testing through a two-party t test using SPSS with the calculation of independent sample t-test, obtained a tcount = 3.357, ttable = 1.998 and Sig value. (2-tailed) 0.001 <0.05), (2) the historical awareness of students who utilize the Museum Nasional Virtual Tour learning media is higher than students who utilize video learning media. The average posttest score of the experimental class = 163, 90, and the control class = 153, 29, shows that the experimental class has a higher average score than the control class. Museum Nasional Virtual Tour can be used as a reference in the history learning process to measure students' historical awareness, especially on the indicator of preserving the nation's historical heritage. Based on the results of the study, the utilization of learning media Museum Nasional Virtual Tour has advantages: (1) the Museum Nasional Virtual Tour presents data and image displays that can be enjoyed from various points of view, students can see more details about historical collections, both in form, ornamentation and text, (2) the use of the Museum Nasional Virtual Tour accordance with the material studied. The Museum Nasional Virtual Tour in its implementation can be accessed easily using students' cellphones through the website, and (3) provides new learning experiences to students.

Additional Information: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh media pembelajaran Museum Nasional Virtual Tour terhadap kesadaran sejarah siswa di Kelas X SMA Negeri 7 Kabupaten Tangerang. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah quasi eksperiment. Penelitian dilakukan di Kelas X IIS 3, berjumlah 29 siswa, sebagai kelas eksperimen dan 10 IIS 4 berjumlah 35 siswa, sebagai kelas kontrol. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada tanggal 27 Februari – 05 Maret 2023. Adapun hasil penelitian sebagai berikut: (1) terdapat pengaruh media pembelajaran Museum Nasional Virtual Tour terhadap kesadaran sejarah siswa, pengujian hipotesis melalui uji t dua pihak menggunakan SPSS dengan perhitungan independent sample t-test, diperoleh nilai thitung=3,357, ttabel=1,998 dan nilai Sig. (2-tailed) 0,001 < 0,05), (2) kesadaran sejarah siswa yang memanfaatkan media pembelajaran Museum Nasional Virtual Tour lebih tinggi dari pada siswa yang memanfaatkan media pembelajaran video. Perolehan rata-rata nilai posttest kelas eksperimen= 163, 90, dan kelas kontrol= 153, 29, menunjukkan bahwa kelas eksperimen memiliki nilai rata-rata lebih tinggi dari kelas kontrol. Museum Nasional Virtual Tour dapat digunakan sebagai rujukan dalam proses pembelajaran sejarah untuk mengukur kesadaran sejarah siswa, terutama pada indikator menjaga peninggalan sejarah bangsa. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, pemanfaatan media pembelajaran Museum Nasional Virtual Tour memiliki keunggulan: (1) Museum Nasional Virtual Tour menyajikan data dan tampilan gambar yang bisa dinikmati dari berbagai sudut pandang, siswa bisa melihat lebih detail mengenai koleksi sejarah, baik secara bentuk, ornamen dan teks, (2) pemanfaatan Museum Nasional Virtual Tour mengutamakan prinsip efisiensi, yakni hemat biaya dan waktu, namun tetap sesuai dengan materi yang dipelajari. Museum Nasional Virtual Tour dalam pelaksanaannya dapat diakses dengan mudah menggunakan handphone siswa melalui website, dan (3) memberikan pengalaman belajar baru kepada siswa.
