Abstract

The lack of student interest in learning physics at school due to learning that rarely uses learning media and tends to be monotonous is the background for this research. The aim of this research is to create appropriate learning media, see students' responses to the learning media created and determine the influence of the media developed on students' interest in learning physics. Research and Development (R&D) is the methodology used in this research with a 4D development model which consists of several stages, namely Define, Design, Develop and Disseminate. The research results show that the Fluidy learning media product obtained a percentage of 92% in the "very feasible" category based on validation from material and media experts and a percentage of 88% in the "very feasible" category based on the results of the student response questionnaire. Apart from that, based on the standard gain value of 0.39 in the "medium" category, it proves that Fluidy learning media can increase students' interest in physics lessons. As a result, it can be said that Fluidy learning media is a good choice and can be used to increase students' interest in learning physics.

Additional Information: Kurangnya minat siswa dalam pembelajaran fisika di sekolah akibat pembelajaran yang jarang menggunakan media pembelajaran dan cenderung monoton menjadi latar belakang dilakukannya penelitian ini. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah membuat media pembelajaran yang layak, melihat respon siswa terhadap media pembelajaran yang dibuat dan mengetahui pengaruh dari media yang dikembangkan terhadap minat belajar fisika siswa. Research and Development (R&D) adalah metodologi yang digunakan pada penelitian ini dengan model pengembangan 4D yang terdiri dari beberapa tahapan yaitu Define, Design, Develop dan Disseminate. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa produk media pembelajaran Fluidy memperoleh persentase sebesar 92% dalam kategori "sangat layak" berdasarkan validasi ahli materi dan media dan persentase sebesar 88% dalam kategori "sangat layak" berdasarkan hasil angket respons peserta didik. Selain itu, berdasarkan nilai standar gain sebesar 0,39 dengan kategori "sedang" membuktikan bahwa media pembelajaran Fluidy dapat meningkatkan minat siswa dalam pelajaran fisika. Hasilnya, dapat dikatakan bahwa media pembelajaran Fluidy adalah pilihan yang baik dan dapat digunakan untuk meningkatkan minat siswa dalam belajar fisika.
