Abstract

This study aims to develop and determine the feasibility of SICOMO-based teaching modules in supporting differentiated learning on biotechnology material to increase student creativity. The Research and Development (R&D) development model modified from Sugiyono (2015) is potential and problems, data collection, product design, product validation, and design revision. The research was conducted from April 2023 to December 2023 at SMA Negeri 10 Pandeglang and the development of this teaching module was carried out at the Biology Education Department. Data collection techniques in the form of non-tests using questionnaires, interviews, observation, and documentation. The feasibility assessment of teaching modules based on learning design experts obtained an average value of 97% while the assessment of the feasibility of teaching modules based on users/users obtained an average value of 93%. Based on the results of the study, the SICOMO-based teaching module is included in the category of very feasible to use in learning biology, especially Biotechnology material in supporting differentiated learning to increase student creativity.

Additional Information: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan serta mengetahui kelayakan modul ajar berbasis SICOMO dalam menunjang pembelajaran berdiferensiasi pada materi bioteknologi untuk meningkatkan kreativitas peserta didik. Model pengembangan Research and Development (R&D) yang dimodifikasi dari Sugiyono (2015) yaitu potensi dan masalah, pengumpulan data, desain produk, validasi produk, dan revisi desain. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan April 2023 sampai dengan bulan Desember 2023 di SMA Negeri 10 Pandeglang dan pengembangan modul ajar ini dilaksanakan di Jurusan Pendidikan Biologi. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa non tes menggunakan angket (kuesioner), wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Penilaian kelayakan modul ajar berdasarkan ahli desain pembelajaran memperoleh nilai rata-rata sebesar 97% sedangkan penilaian kelayakan modul ajar berdasarkan user/pengguna memperoleh nilai rata-rata sebesar 93%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, modul ajar berbasis SICOMO termasuk dalam kategori sangat layak untuk digunakan dalam pembelajaran biologi khususnya materi Bioteknologi dalam menunjang pembelajaran berdiferensiasi untuk meningkatkan kreativitas peserta didik.
