Abstract

The digital module of the digestive system was developed based on the ICARE learning model by integrating the SETS approach to the problems presented in the connection stage. The purpose of this study was to develop teaching products in the form of ICARE-based digital modules integrated with the SETS approach on the concept of the food digestive system in high school. The type of research used is research and development with the 4D model design by Thiagarajan as a teaching material development model, which consists of 4 stages, namely define, design, development, and disseminate. In this study, it is limited to the development stage. The results of the module feasibility assessment by media experts get an overall score of 88.27% (very feasible category), by material experts of 88.76% (very feasible category). The teacher response test scored 96% (very feasible category) while the student response test scored 90.3% (very feasible category). Based on the results of expert assessment and user response tests, the ICARE digital module is included in the very feasible category and can be used in the learning process of the food digestive system in class XI. The results of the development of digital modules are expected to contribute alternative teaching materials in the classroom to increase student interest in learning the food digestive system.

Additional Information: Modul digital sistem pencernaan dikembangkan berbasis model pembelajaran ICARE dengan mengintegrasikan pendekatan SETS pada permasalahan yang disajikan dalam tahapan connection. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengembangkan produk ajar berupa modul digital berbasis ICARE terintegrasi pendekatan SETS pada konsep sistem pencernaan makanan di SMA. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah research and development dengan desain model 4D oleh Thiagarajan sebagai model pengembangan bahan ajar, yang terdiri dari 4 tahapan yaitu define, design, development, dan disseminate. Pada penelitian ini dibatasi sampai dengan tahapan development. Hasil penilaian kelayakan modul oleh ahli media mendapatkan skor secara keseluruhan adalah 88,27% (kategori sangat layak), oleh ahli materi sebesar 88,76% (kategori sangat layak). Uji respon guru mendapatkan skor sebesar 96% (kategori sangat layak) sedangkan uji respon siswa mendapatkan skor sebesar 90,3% (kategori sangat layak). Berdasarkan hasil penilaian ahli dan uji respon pengguna, modul digital ICARE termasuk ke dalam kategori sangat layak dan dapat digunakan pada proses pembelajaran sistem pencernaan makanan di kelas XI. Hasil pengembangan modul digital diharapkan dapat memberikan sumbangan alternatif bahan ajar di kelas untuk meningkatkan minat siswa dalam mempelajari sistem pencernaan makanan.
