Abstract

The purpose of this research is to evaluate the refrigeration and air conditioning training program at the Bogor Vocational Training Center using the CIPPO evaluation model which consists of aspects of Context, input, Product, Process, Outcome. This research is a type of evaluation research, while the approach used is a qualitative description approach. In data collection, observation, interview and documentation methods were used. Data validity used in this research is triangulation technique. Data analysis in this study uses qualitative analysis which consists of data collection, data reduction, data display and conclusion making. The results of this study are: 1) context evaluation of the refrigeration and air conditioning training programme can be said to be good, although the implementation of the training programme is not in accordance with the regional conditions and the needs of the Bogor community, but there is a legal basis, clear duties and functions, there are clear objectives of the refrigeration and air conditioning programme and there are good and clear indicators of programme success. 2) The input evaluation of the air conditioning programme is quite good, learning resources and practical tools are good but still lacking in human resources are still lacking and room facilities and also supporting facilities. 3) The process evaluation of the refrigeration and air conditioning training programme is good, the recruitment process is carried out well, has a schedule of activities and is well arranged, there is a list of attendance and for the material is good, while the learning assessment is carried out well and according to the assessment standards used is also satisfactory. 4) Evaluation of the product (results) of the refrigeration and air conditioning training programme can be considered to have met the indicators of the success of the training programme with the percentage of graduation of trainees reaching 100%. 5) Evaluation of the outcome (reciprocity) of the refrigeration and air conditioning training programme reciprocity between institutions and participants needs to increase data collection of participants who graduate and need to increase cooperation between institutions and industry. The result of the evaluation is that the programme continues with some improvements in order to create a better training programme for the future.

Additional Information: Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengevaluasi program pelatihan pendingin AC Split BLK Bogor dengan menggunakan model evaluasi CIPPO yang terdiri dari aspek Context, input, Product, Process, Outcome. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian evaluasi, adapun pendekatan yang digunakan adalah pendekatan deskripsi kualitatif. Pada pengumpulan data, digunakan metode observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Keabsahan data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu teknik triangulasi. Analisis data pada penelitian ini menggunakan analisis kualitatif yang terdiri dari pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan simpulan. Temuan yang diperoleh dari hasil penelitian ini adalah: 1) evaluasi context (konteks) program pelatihan pendingin ac split sudah dapat dikatakan baik, walaupun penyelenggaraan program pelatihan yang belum sesuai dengan keadaan wilayah dan kebutuhan masyarakat bogor, tapi terdapat dasar hukum, tugas dan fungsi jelas, terdapat tujuan program pendingin ac split yang jelas dan adanya indikator keberhasilan program yang baik dan jelas. 2) Evaluasi input(masukan) program pendingin ac split sudah cukup baik, sumber belajar dan alat praktik sudah baik tetapi masih kurang pada sumber daya manusia masih kurang dan fasilitas ruangan dan juga fasilitas penunjang. 3) evaluasi process (proses) program pelatihan ac di UPT BLK Bogor sudah baik, proses rekrutmen dilaksanakan dengan baik, mempunyai jadwal kegiatan dan sudah tersusun baik, adanya daftar presensi dan untuk materi sudah baik, metode pembelajaran dan model pembelajaran yang digunakan sudah sesuai adapun penilaian pembelajaran dilaksanakan dengan baik dan sesuai standar penilaian yang digunakan juga sudah memuaskan. 4) Evaluasi product(hasil) program pelatihan ac split bisa dianggap telah memenuhi indikator keberhasilan program pelatihan ac split di UPT BLK bogor dengan persentase kelulusan peserta pelatihan yang mencapai 100%. 5) evaluasi outcome (timbal balik) program pelatihan ac split timbal balik antara BLK dan peserta sudah cukup baik tetapi perlu adanya peningkatan pendataan peserta yang lulus dan perlu diperbanyak kerjasama antara UPT BLK bogor dengan industri. Hasil dari evaluasi program pelatihan pendingin ac split yaitu program tetap dilanjutan dengan beberapa pembenahan agar tercipta penyelenggaraan program pelatihan yang lebih baik untuk kedepannya.
