Abstract
Agricultural development is one of the backbones of the national development and the implementation must be synergic with the development of other sectors. Agricultural development actors include relevant technical departments, local governments, farmers, private sector, communities and other stakeholders. To increase agricultural productivity in Indonesia is began with optimizing agricultural extension activities throughout the region. One of the government's programs to support the increasing of agricultural productivity is with the guidance from technology integrated crop management (ICM) at the rice fields, which are supported by their role as a teacher educator, analyst, advisor and organizer. The aim of this research is to determine the role of agricultural extension toward the technology application of integrated crop management (ICM) at the rice fields and analyze the relationship between the roles of agricultural extension to the technology application of integrated crop management (ICM) at the rice fields, in the Banjarsari Warunggunung District. Survey Method is use in this research and the place of the research is determine in Warunggunung Banjarsari District. The sampling technique that is use simple random sampling. The types of data that are use were primary and secondary data. The data collecting techniques were questionnaires, interviews and observation. To analyze the relationship between the roles of agricultural extension toward the technology application of integrated crop management (ICM) at the rice field, the researcher used rank spearman correlation analysis. The results of this research can be seen with the rank spearman test correlation by SPSS 16.0 application. It showed that the relationship role of agricultural extension towards the implementation of integrated crop management technologies in rice crops was significant, with a value of 0.746. So, it can be concluded that there is a relationship between the role of agricultural extension to the application technology of integrated crop management (ICM) at the rice fields, in the Warunggunug Banjarsari District of Lebak Village. | Additional Information: | Pembangunan pertanian merupakan salah satu tulang punggung pembangunan nasional dan implementasinya harus sinergis dengan pembangunan sector lainnya. Pelaku pembangunan pertanian meliputi departemen teknis terkait, pemerintah daerah, petani, pihak swasta, masyarakat dan pemangku kepentingan lainnya. Untuk meningkatkan produktivitas pertanian di Indonesia mulai mengoptimalkan kegiatan penyuluhan pertanian di seluruh daerah. Salah satu program pemerintah untuk mendukung peningkatan produktivitas pertanian yaitu dengan bimbingan teknologi pengelolaan tanaman terpadu (PTT) pada tanaman padi sawah, yang didukung dengan adanya peranan penyuluh sebagai guru, penganalisis, penasehat maupun organisator. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana peran penyuluh pertanian dalam kegiatan bimbingan dan penerapan teknologi pengelolaan tanaman terpadu (PTT) pada tanaman padi sawah dan menganalisis hubungan peranan penyuluh pertanian terhadap penerapan teknologi pengelolaan teknologi terpadu (PTT) pada tanaman padi sawah di Desa Banjarsari Kecamatan Warunggunung. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode survey, dengan lokasi penelitian ditentukan secara sengaja (purposive) yaitu di Di Desa Banjarsari Kecamatan Warunggunung Kabupaten Lebak. Teknik pengambilan sampel dilakukan secara Simple Random Sampling. Jenis data yang digunakan adalah data primer dan sekunder. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui kuesioner, wawancara dan observasi. Untuk menganalisis hubungan antara peran penyuluh pertanian dengan penerapan teknologi pengelolaan (PTT) pada tanaman padi sawah menggunakan analisis korelasi rank spearman. Hasil penelitian ini dapat diketahui bahwa dengan uji korelasi rank spearman dengan aplikasi SPSS 16.0 menunjukan bahwa hubungan peranan penyuluh pertanian terhadap penerapan teknologi pengelolaan tanaman terpadu pada tanaman padi sawah adalah signifikan, dengan nilai 0.746 yang artinya terdapat hubungan antara peranan penyuluh pertanian terhadap penerapan teknologi pengelolaan tanaman terpadu (PTT) pada tanaman padi sawah di Desa Banjarsari Kecamatan Warunggunung Kabupaten Lebak. | |||||||||
