Abstract

In fact, the concept of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) implemented by companies currently does not provide direct benefits for the company. Companies only carry out social activities for the community without any reciprocity obtained by the company to increase company income, so that the concept of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is now being developed with a concept that is more profitable, both for the company and society. Creating Shared Value (CSV) is used as a policy in order to increase the company's competitiveness while increasing the economic and social value of the community around the company. The focus of this research is related to the comparison of the concepts of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Creating Shared Value (CSV) in companies and the concept of Creating Shared Value (CSV) in companies is connected to sustainable development. The theories used are the theory of legal certainty and the theory of development law. The research method used is normative juridical with a statutory approach and a conceptual approach. The data used is secondary data using library study data collection techniques. The data analysis used is qualitative descriptive analysis. The results of this research state that the comparison between Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Creating Shared Value (CSV) has the same basis, namely doing well by doing good. However, there are differences regarding the use of social responsibility in companies, the costs allocated, and the laws that regulate it. Until now, there are no regulations regarding Creating Shared Value (CSV). PT. Great Giant Pineapple implements Creating Shared Value (CSV) by conducting a partnership program. Different from PT. Mayora Indah Tbk. which only implements Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). The implementation of Creating Shared Value (CSV) has more influence on sustainable development. In this way, it is hoped that the government will immediately make regulations regarding Creating Shared Value (CSV) and companies that have not implemented it will immediately implement it so that it is more beneficial for the company.
