Abstract
The rapid flow of globalization means that traditional arts have to fight even harder to maintain their existence. Ubrug traditional art is one of the traditional arts typical of the Banten region which still exists in the era of increasingly sophisticated technology, information and communication. One of the Ubrug arts that still exists in the Banten area is the Dipikatineung Pentil group. Dipikatineung Pentil is able to maintain its existence, which can be seen from the large number of requests for performances at weddings and circumcision celebrations. This research aims to determine the existence and factors that influence the existence of Ubrug art in the Dipikatineung Pentil group in Pangawinan village, Serang district. This research method uses a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach. Data collection techniques use observation, interviews and documentation methods. The data analysis technique in this research uses data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The data inspection technique uses data source triangulation. The results of the research show that the existence of Ubrug art in the Dipikatineung Pentil group is reflected in maintaining the integrity and quality of the performances so that people in Serang Regency and its surroundings have the desire to invite the Ubrug Dipikatineung Pentil group to the event held. The existence of Ubrug art in the Dipikatineung Pentil group is influenced by two factors, namely internal factors and external factors. Internal factors are the abilities of the musicians (Nayaga), dancers and members and crew. External factors that support the existence of Ubrug art in the Dipikatineung Pentil group are the presence of appreciators or spectators and the community.

| Additional Information: | Derasnya arus globalisasi membuat kesenian tradisional harus berjuang lebih keras lagi untuk mempertahankan eksistensinya. Kesenian tradisional Ubrug merupakan salah satu kesenian tradisional khas dari daerah Banten yang masih eksis di era gempuran zaman teknologi, infomasi, dan komunikasi yang semakin canggih. Kesenian Ubrug yang masih eksis di daerah Banten salah satunya yaitu grup Dipikatineung Pentil. Grup tersebut mampu mempertahankan eksistensinya yang terlihat dari banyaknya permintaan untuk pentas pada acara hajatan pernikahan dan khitanan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui eksistensi dan faktor-faktor apa sajakah yang memengaruhi eksistensi seni Ubrug pada grup Dipikatineung Pentil di Desa Pangawinan Kabupaten Serang. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan metode observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan simpulan. Teknik pemeriksaan data menggunakan triangulasi sumber data. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa eksistensi seni Ubrug pada grup Dipikatineung Pentil tercermin dari menjaga keutuhan dan kualitas pertunjukan sehingga masyarakat di Kabupaten Serang dan sekitarnya memiliki keinginan untuk mengundang grup Ubrug Dipikatineung Pentil pada acara yang diselenggarakan tersebut. Eksistensi seni Ubrug pada grup Dipikatineung Pentil dipengaruhi oleh dua faktor yaitu faktor internal dan faktor eksternal. Faktor Internalnya adalah kemapuan pemain musik (Nayaga), penari dan anggota beserta kru. Faktor eksternal yang mendukung eksistensi seni Ubrug pada grup Dipikatineung Pentil yaitu adanya apresiator atau penonton dan masyarakat. | |||||||||
