Abstract
This research was motivated by the development of self-confidence in teenagers aged 11- 15 years in Bandrong pencak silat activities. The aim is to find out the process of pencak silat activities and the factors that influence the self-confidence of teenagers aged 11-15 years. The research method used is a qualitative descriptive method, with data collection techniques through interviews, observation and documentation. Based on the research results, it was found that the training activity process was carried out in 5 stages, including: (1) Opening to start the activity, (2) Warming up to stretch the body, (3) Core activities as a process of developing self-confidence, (4) Evaluation was carried out every at the end of the activity and (5) Closing. The factors that influence the self-confidence of teenagers aged 11-15 years consist of: (1) Trainers as providers of martial arts material, (2) Peers, whose role is as encouragement, encouragement to be more enthusiastic in practicing, (3) Silat movements, silat movements are able to show strength and agility which makes teenagers more confident in performing these movements and moves, (4) Events, trying new things, being responsible for their duties, and always being optimistic in carrying out existing events

Additional Information: | Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh adanya pengembangan rasa percaya diri remaja usia 11-15 tahun pada kegiatan pencak silat Bandrong. Tujuannya yaitu untuk mengetahui bagaimana proses kegiatan pencak silat dan faktor yang mempengaruhi rasa percaya diri remaja usia 11-15 Tahun. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu metode deskriptif kualitati, dengan t eknik pengumpulan datamelalui wawanara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ditemukan bahwa proses kegiatan latihan dilakukan 5 tahap, meliputi: (1) Pembukaan untuk memulai kegiatan, (2) Pemanasan untuk peregangan tubuh, (3) Kegiatan Inti sebagai proses kegiatan proses pengembangan rasa percaya diri, (4) Evaluasi dilakukan setiap diakhir kegiatan dan (5) Penutup. adapun faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi rasa percaya diri remaja usia 11-15 tahun terdiri dari: (1) Pelatih sebagai pemebri materi geraks silat, (2) Teman Sebaya, mempunyai peran yaitu sebgai penyemangat, dorongan agar lebih semangat dalam berlatih, (3) Gerak Silat, gerak silat mampu menunjukkan, kekuatan, ketangkisan yang dimana membuat remaja semakin percaya diri menampilkan gerak-gerak dan jurus tersebut, (4) Acara, mencoba hal baru, bertanggung jawab akan tugasnya, serta selalu optimis dalam melakukan acara. | |||||||||
