Abstract

The purpose of the research was aimed to know the effect of the application of growth regulator substance (ZPT) types and doses of goat manure fertilizer on the growth of Miana (Coleus atropurpureus) plant cuttings. The research was located at Komp. PLN Klender Jl. Kereta No. 5, East Jakarta City, D.K.I Jakarta Province. This research used a Factorial Randomized Completely Block Design (RCBD) with each consisting of four levels, there were sixteen treatment combinations and there were three replications. The first factor was the type of growth regulator substance ZPT which consists of 4 treatments, namely: Z0 (with no growth regulator substance), Z1 (Shallot Extract), Z2 (Auxin IBA), and Z3 (Mung Bean Sprouts Extract). The second factor was the application of goat manure fertilizer with different doses consisting of 4 levels, namely: K1 (70 g/plant), K2 (75 g/plant), K3 (80 g/plant), and K4 (85 g/plant). The application of IBA substance had the best influence on the parameters: total of leaves, total of roots and root length. Application of a dose of goat manure fertilizer did not have a significant effect on the growth of miana (Coleus atropurpureus L.) plant cuttings. There was no interaction between the type of ZPT and the dose of goat manure fertilizer on the growth of miana (Coleus atropurpureus L.) plant cuttings.

Additional Information:	Miana (Coleus atropurpureus L.) atau yang lebih dikenal dimasyarakat luas dengan nama iles-iles atau jawer kotok, umumnya tanaman ini diperbanyak secara vegetatif, salah satunya adalah stek. Pada perbanyakan secara vegetatif (stek) zat pengatur tumbuh alami yang ada pada tanaman berada di bawah optimal, sehingga dibutuhkan sumber dari luar untuk menghasilkan respon yang maksimal, maka dari itu pengaplikasian ZPT eksogen dan pupuk organik perlu dilakukan untuk memenuhi kebutuhan pada fase awal dalam perbanyakan dengan cara vegetatif. Tujuan pada penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh dari pengaplikasian jenis ZPT dan dosis pupuk kotoran kambing terhadap pertumbuhan stek tanaman Miana (Coleus atropurpureus). Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode eksperimen, yang berlokasi di Komp. PLN Klender Jl. Kereta No. 5, Kota Jakarta Timur, Provinsi D.K.I Jakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) Faktorial 2 faktor dengan masing-masing terdiri dari 4 taraf dengan demikian terdapat 16 kombinasi perlakuan dan terdapat 3 kali ulangan. Faktor pertama ialah jenis ZPT yang terdiri dari 4 perlakuan, yaitu: Z0 (Tanpa ZPT), Z1 (Ekstrak Bawang Merah), Z2 (ZPT Auksin IBA), dan Z3 (Ekstrak Kecambah Kacang Hijau). Faktor kedua adalah pemberian pupuk kotoran kambing dengan dosis yang berbeda yang terdiri dari 4 taraf, yaitu: K1 (70 g/tanaman), K2 (75 g/tanaman), K3 (80 g/tanaman), dan K4 (85 g/tanaman). Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pengaplikasian ZPT IBA memberikan pengaruh terbaik terhadap parameter jumlah daun, jumlah akar, dan panjang akar. Pengaplikasian dosis pupuk kotoran kambing tidak memberikan pengaruh yang nyata terhadap pertumbuhan stek tanaman miana (Coleus atropurpureus L.). Tidak terdapat interaksi antara pemberian jenis ZPT dan dosis pupuk kotoran kambing terhadap pertumbuhan stek tanaman miana (Coleus atropurpureus L.).
