Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of using the booklet of gastropod diversity in Sangiang Island Nature Tourism Park on student learning outcomes (as teaching materials on invertebrate subconcepts of class X high school students). This research is a type of quasi-experimental research that uses a posttest only control design. The population in this study were all students of class X SMAN 3 Pandeglang. The sampling was done by simple random sampling technique. Data collection techniques using test techniques in the form of multiple choice, non-test in the form of affective and psychomotor assessment sheets, questionnaires and observation sheets. Data hypothesis analysis techniques using hypothesis tests such as normality test, homogeneity test, and T test (Independent sample T-Test). Based on the results of the research that has been done, it can be seen that the average value of students' cognitive abilities for the experimental class is 75.19 while for the control class it is 65.68. The average value of students' affective ability for the experimental class was 80.05 while for the control class it was 73.08. The average value of students' psychomotor abilities for the experimental class was 84.27 while for the control class it was 73.68. Based on the results of these data, it can be concluded that the developed booklet of gastropod diversity in Sangiang Island Nature Park is very effective to be applied to the learning process as teaching material for invertebrate sub-concepts on cognitive, affective and psychomotor aspects.

Additional Information: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas penggunaan booklet keanekaragaman gastropoda Taman Wisata Alam Pulau Sangiang terhadap hasil belajar siswa (sebagai bahan ajar pada subkonsep invertebrata siswa kelas X SMA). Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian quasi eksperimen yang menggunakan desain penelitian posttest only control design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas X SMAN 3 Pandeglang. Pengambilan sampel ini dilakukan dengan teknik simple random sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik tes berupa pilihan ganda, non-tes berupa lembar penilaian afektif dan psikomotorik, angket dan lembar observasi. Teknik analisis hipotesis data menggunakan uji hipotesis seperti uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, dan uji T (Independent sample T-Test). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan, dapat diketahui nilai rata-rata kemampuan kognitif siswa untuk kelas eksperimen sebesar 75,19 sedangkan untuk kelas kontrol sebesar 65,68. Nilai rata-rata kemampuan afektif siswa untuk kelas eksperimen sebesar 80,05 sedangkan untuk kelas kontrol sebesar 73,08. Nilai rata-rata kemampuan psikomotorik siswa untuk kelas eksperimen 84,27 sedangkan untuk kelas kontrol sebesar 73,68. Berdasarkan hasil data tersebut dapat disimpulkan booklet keanekaragaman gastropoda Taman Wisata Alam Pulau Sangiang yang dikembangkan sangat efektif untuk diterapkan pada proses pembelajaran sebagai bahan ajar subkonsep invertebrata terhadap aspek kognitif, afektif dan psikomotorik.
