Abstract

This research aims to describe the forms of associative meaning in the Associative Meaning Analysis of religious song lyrics in the top hits album Religi Hijau. The results of research on associative meaning will later be relevant to learning Poetry Appreciation in high school. The associative meanings in the religious song lyrics in the top hits album Religi Hijau are 1) connotative meaning, 2) stylistic meaning, 3) affective meaning, 4) reflective meaning, and 5) collocative meaning. This research uses a qualitative description method in the form of descriptions in analyzing using listening, reading and note-taking techniques. The source of the research data comes from the lyrics of religious songs in the top hits album Religion Purple. The research data is in the form of sentences taken from the lyrics of religious songs in the top hits album Religion Purple. The validity technique in this research uses Leech's 2003 theory regarding associative meaning in studying and analyzing the data that has been found. The results of the research show that in the lyrics of religious songs in the top hits album Religious Purple, the following forms of associative meaning were found: in the lyrics of religious songs, out of 78 research data, 19 of them included connotative meaning, 16 of stylistic meaning were found, and affective meaning was found of 16. 18 data, reflective meaning was found in 14 data, and colloactive meaning was found in 11 data. Based on the description of the research data above, this research is relevant by identifying the atmosphere, theme and meaning of several poems contained in the poetry anthology that are being heard, and demonstrating (reading) one poem from the poetry anthology or poetry collection by paying attention to vocals, expression and intonation ( dynamic stress and rhythmic stress) that are heard and read.

Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskripsi kualitatif berupa uraian dalam menganalisis dengan teknik simak, baca, dan catat. Sumber data penelitian berasal dari lirik lagu religi dalam album top hits religi ungu. Data penelitian berbentuk kalimat yang diambil dari lirik lagu religi dalam album top hits religi ungu. Teknik keabsahan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teori Leech tahun 2003 terkait makna asosiatif dalam mengkaji dan menganalisis data yang telah ditemukan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada lirik lagu religi dalam album top hits religi ungu ditemukan bentuk makna asosiatif sebagai berikut: dalam lirik lagu religi tersebut, dari 78 data penelitian meliputi makna konotatif ditemukan sebanyak 19 data, makna stilistik ditemukan sebanyak 16 data, makna afektif ditemukan sebanyak 18 data, makna reflektif ditemukan sebanyak 14 data, dan makna koloaktif ditemukan sebanyak 11 data. Berdasarkan deskripsi data penelitian di atas,penelitian tersebut direlevansikan dengan mengidentifikasi suasana, tema, dan makna beberapa puisi yang terkandung dalam antologi puisi yang diperdengarkan, dan mendemonstrasikan (membacakan) satu puisi dari antologi puisi atau kumpulan puisi dengan memerhatikan vokal, ekspresi, dan intonasi (tekanan dinamik dan tekanan ritme) yang didengar dan dibaca.
