Abstract
The topic of chemical bonding associated with an element and the compounds found by this property are abstract representations of sub-microscopic events. Because in general the lessons are said to be quite difficult in mastering concepts in classroom learning. Firm reasoning is very important for HOTS thinking, then critical thinking is needed by high school students as a fundamental ability for students to understand chemistry concepts so that critical thinking skills are needed in understanding chemical concepts. This study aims to develop the characteristics of the Chemical Bond E-module to stimulate students' critical thinking skills. This learning media is made with a design that combines recordings, text, videos and animated images and can be accessed anywhere and anytime in all electronic media. This study used the Research & Development method, namely the ADDIE model (analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation), whose research involved 15 high school students in Banten. The instruments used were a feasibility questionnaire for the Chemical Bond E-module and a student response questionnaire. The results of the feasibility study based on the Aikens validity test produced a value of V table > 0.87 with a valid category and based on the results of student responses obtained an average percentage of 83.92% with a very valid category. To find out the stimulus for critical thinking skills obtained by students after working on the questions on the Chemical Bond E-module, each indicator of critical thinking skills is worth > 80%, so it is classified as very good.

Karena pada umumnya pelajarannya dikatakan cukup sulit dalam penguasaan konsep dalam pembelajaran dikelas. Penalaran yang tegas sangat penting untuk berpikir HOTs, selanjutnya berpikir kritis sangat diperlukan oleh siswa sekolah menengah atas sebagai kemampuan mendasar bagi siswa dalam memahami konsep kimia sehingga diperlukan keterampilan berpikir kritis dalam memahami konsep-konsep kimia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan karkateristik E-modul Chemical Bond untuk menstimulus keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa. Media pembelajaran ini dibuat dengan rancangan yang menggabungkan rekaman, teks, video dan gambar animasi serta dapat diakses di mana saja dan kapan saja di semua media elektronik. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research & Development yaitu model ADDIE (analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation), yang penelitiannya melibatkan siswa SMA di Banten dengan siswa 15 orang. Instrument yang digunakan adalah angket kelayakan E-modul Chemical Bond dan lembar angket respon siswa. Hasil penelitian kelayakan berdasarkan uji validitas aikens menghasilkan nilai V tabel >0,87 dengan kategori valid dan berdasarkan hasil respon siswa diperoleh persentase rata-rata sejumlah 83,92% dengan kategori sangat valid. Untuk mengetahui stimulus keterampilan berpikir kritis yang diperoleh oleh siswa setelah pengerjaan soal pada E-modul Chemical Bond menghasilkan setiap indikatornya keterampilan berpikir kritis bernilai >80% sehingga termasuk kelasifikasi sangat baik. | |||||||||
