Abstract

This research aims to determine the development process, media suitability and student responses to application-based learning media Edpuzzle in flat figure material for class IV elementary school. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D) which is guided by the 4D development model (Define, Design, Development, Disseminate). Data collection techniques were obtained through observation, interviews, questionnaires and documentation. The development of this research involved a team of experts, namely: material experts with a score of 85.2%, language experts with a score of 89.1% and media experts with a score of 85%. Based on the percentage values from the three experts, an average value of 86.43% was obtained when interpreted as including the "Very Eligible" criteria. The product trial was carried out at SDN Periuk 6, the subjects of this research were class IV students, totaling 26 students, then the questionnaire calculated the students' responses to the learning media. Edpuzzle got an average result of 95.76% in the "Very Good" category. So it can be concluded that the development of application-based learning media Edpuzzle This is very suitable to be used as a learning medium that helps learning activities for students in class IV at SDN Periuk 6.

Additional Information: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui proses pengembangan, kelayakan media dan respon peserta didik terhadap media pembelajaran berbasis aplikasi Edpuzzle pada materi bangun datar kelas IV sekolah dasar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu Research and Development (R&D) yang berpedoman pada model pengembangan 4D (Define, Design, Development, Disseminate). Teknik pengumpulan data diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara, angket dan dokumentasi. Pengembangan pada penelitian ini melibatkan tim ahli yaitu: ahli materi dengan perolehan nilai sebesar 85,2%, untuk ahli bahasa memperoleh nilai 89,1% serta ahli media memperoleh nilai sebesar 85%. Berdasarkan nilai persentase dari ketiga ahli maka diperoleh nilai rata-rata sebesar 86,43% apabila diinterpretasikan termasuk ke dalam kriteria “Sangat Layak”. Uji coba produk dilakukan di SDN Periuk 6, subjek penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas IV yang berjumlah 26 peserta didik, selanjutnya perhitungan angket respon peserta didik terhadap media pembelajaran Edpuzzle medapatkan hasil rata-rata 95,76% dengan kategori “Sangat Baik”. Maka dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa pengembangan media pembelajaran berbasis aplikasi Edpuzzle ini sangat layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran yang membantu kegiatan pembelajaran pada peserta didik di kelas IV SDN Periuk 6.
