Abstract
This study aims to develop, determine the feasibility and usage response to infographic media as a learning resource for carbon stock recognition on the sub-concept of global warming to improve students' visual literacy. The method used in this research is the R&D (Research and Development) method with the ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implementation, Evaluation) model research design which is modified into 4 stages, namely analyze, design, development, evaluation. This research was conducted from May 2023 - December 2023 at Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University and SMAN 5 Serang City. The research subjects consisted of 2 material experts, 2 media experts, 2 biology teachers, and 20 students of class X SMAN 5 Kota Serang. The results of the feasibility assessment based on material experts obtained an average score of 96,6% and media experts of 95,5%. In the limited trial assessment results, the average value of the user response test on the teacher was 96,5% and the user response test on students was 85,2%. Both assessment results are included in the very feasible category. Based on the results of the study, infographic media is very feasible to use as a learning resource for the introduction of carbon stocks in the sub-concept of global warming. This research has an impact on the world of education as a reference for further media development research, can help teachers integrate 21st century skills into the learning process, and has implications for students in understanding subject matter more flexibly and interactively.

Additional Information: | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan, mengetahui kelayakan dan respon penggunaan terhadap media infografis sebagai sumber belajar pengenalan stok karbon pada sub konsep pemanasan global untuk meningkatkan literasi visual siswa. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu metode R&D (Research and Development) dengan desain penelitian model ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implementation, Evaluation) yang dimodifikasi menjadi 4 tahapan yaitu analyze, design, development, evaluation. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan sejak bulan Mei 2023 - Desember 2023 di Universitas Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa dan SMAN 5 Kota Serang. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari 2 ahli materi, 2 ahli media, 2 guru biologi, dan 20 siswa kelas X SMAN 5 Kota Serang. Hasil penilaian kelayakan berdasarkan ahli materi memperoleh nilai rata-rata sebesar 96,6% dan ahli media sebesar 95,5%. Pada hasil penilaian uji coba terbatas, diperoleh nilai rata-rata uji respon pengguna pada guru sebesar 96,5% dan uji respon pengguna pada siswa sebesar 85,2%. Kedua hasil penilaian tersebut termasuk pada kategori sangat layak. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, media infografis termasuk sangat layak digunakan sebagai sumber belajar pengenalan stok karbon pada sub konsep pemanasan global. Penelitian ini memberikan dampak pada dunia pendidikan sebagai referensi untuk penelitian pengembangan media selanjutnya, dapat membantu guru mengintegrasikan kemampuan abad 21 ke dalam proses pembelajaran, dan berimplikasi terhadap siswa dalam memahami materi pelajaran dengan lebih fleksibel dan interaktif. | |||||||||
