Abstract

This research aims to determine the various parenting patterns adopted by students' parents based on data obtained from students at school, students' learning achievements during one semester at school, and the relationship between parenting styles and children's learning achievements at school. The research method used is a correlational method with a quantitative approach. The population chosen was class XI MIPA 1 students and the sample used used a saturated sampling technique. Data collection used questionnaires and data observation and analysis using product moment analysis from Carl Pearson. The results of this research are that the parenting patterns carried out by parents towards students based on student data are dominated by democratic parenting patterns for 23 students (71,875), permissive parenting patterns for 2 students (6.25%), authoritarian parenting patterns. as many as 5 students (12.5%) and negligent parenting as many as 4 students (12.5%) out of a total of 32 students (100%). Student learning achievement was divided into 3 categories with the results of 15 students (46.875%) included in the high category, 14 students (43.75%) included in the medium category and (9.375%) included in the low category. There is a positive and significant relationship between democratic parenting and learning achievement of 28.7%, there is a positive and significant relationship between permissive parenting and learning achievement of 17.3%, there is a positive and significant relationship between authoritarian parenting and learning achievement of 13. 2%, and the relationship between neglectful parenting and academic achievement has a positive and significant relationship of 20.7%.

Additional Information: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui macam-macam pola asuh yang dianut oleh orang tua siswa berdasarkan data yang diperoleh dari siswa di sekolah, prestasi belajar siswa selama satu semester di sekolah, dan hubungan pola asuh dengan prestasi belajar anak di sekolah. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode korelasional dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi yang dipilih adalah siswa kelas XI MIPA 1 dan sampel yang digunakan menggunakan teknik sampling jenuh. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner dan observasi data serta analisis menggunakan analisis product moment dari Carl Pearson. Hasil penelitian ini adalah pola asuh orang tua yang dilakukan oleh orang tua kepada siswa berdasarkan data siswa didominasi oleh pola asuh demokratis sebanyak 23 siswa (71.875), pola asuh permisif sebanyak 2 siswa (6,25%), Pola asuh otoriter. sebanyak 5 siswa (12,5%) dan pola asuh lalai sebanyak 4 siswa (12,5%) dari total 32 siswa (100%). Prestasi belajar siswa dibagi menjadi 3 kategori dengan hasil 15 siswa (46,875%) termasuk dalam kategori tinggi, 14 siswa (43,75%) termasuk dalam kategori sedang dan (9,375%) termasuk dalam kategori rendah. Ada hubungan positif dan signifikan antara pola asuh demokratis dengan prestasi belajar sebesar 28,7%, pola asuh permisif dengan prestasi belajar terdapat hubungan positif dan signifikan sebesar 17,3%, hubungan pola asuh otoriter dengan prestasi belajar terdapat hubungan positif dan signifikan sebesar 13,2% , dan hubungan antara pola asuh lalai dengan prestasi akademik memiliki hubungan yang positif dan signifikan sebesar 20,7%.
