Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of the Meaningful Instructional Design (MID) learning model on the learning outcomes of grade XI students in SMAN 14 Kota Tangerang. The research method used in this study is quasi experiment with Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. This research was conducted at SMAN 14 Kota Tangerang. The population used in this study is grade XI students of SMAN 14 Kota Tangerang for the 2022/2023 school year with random sampling. The research samples used were class XI MIPA 1 as an experimental class and class XI MIPA 2 as a control class. Data collection techniques are carried out through cognitive tests and product assessment sheets. Cognitive value data and psychomotor value data were analyzed using normality test, homogeneity test, and hypothesis test. The results showed that the average score of students in the experimental class was 89 on cognitive ability and an average score of 85 on psychomotor ability. The average score of cognitive abilities of control class students was 78 with an average psychomotor score of 70. Hypothesis test results use the t-test and Mann-Whitney U test with a sig. value 0.000 < 0.05, so therefore, it can be concluded that there is an influence of the MID learning model on the learning outcomes of grade XI students in SMAN 14 Kota Tangerang on the material of the human excretory system.

Additional Information: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran Meaningful Instructional Design (MID) terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas XI SMAN 14 Kota Tangerang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah quasi experiment dengan desain penelitian Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMAN 14 Kota Tangerang. Populasi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI SMAN 14 Kota Tangerang tahun ajaran 2022/2023 dengan pengambilan sampel secara random (Random sampling). Sampel penelitian yang digunakan adalah kelas XI MIPA 1 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas XI MIPA 2 sebagai kelas kontrol. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui tes kognitif dan lembar penilaian produk. Data nilai kognitif dan nilai psikomotorik siswa dianalisis dengan menggunakan uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, dan uji hipotesis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai rata-rata siswa pada kelas eksperimen adalah 89 pada kemampuan kognitif dan rata-rata nilai 85 pada kemampuan psikomotorik . Nilai rata-rata kemampuan kognitif siswa kelas kontrol adalah 78 dengan rata-rata nilai psikomotorik adalah 70. Hasil uji hipotesis menggunakan uji-t dan uji Mann-Whitney U dengan nilai sig. 0,000 < 0,05, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran MID pada hasil belajar siswa kelas XI SMAN 14 Kota Tangerang pada materi sistem ekskresi manusia.
