Abstract

This research discusses the use of Instagram social media features as a promotional tool for Szeto Academy. The aim of this research is to utilize the Instagram social media feature as a means of promoting Szeto Academy. The writing method used in this research uses primary data and secondary data methods, while the data collection method is based on interviews, observation and secondary data documentation. The results of this research indicate that Szeto Academy has not been effective in utilizing Instagram's social media features. The promotional concept for Szeto Academy has not been able to attract attention, the content created does not contain entertainment content. Almost half of the new Instagram features are used by Szeto Academy. The impact obtained through promotion is by increasing the number of registrations and brand awareness. The obstacles faced during the process of utilizing Instagram's social media features as a means of promotion are unstable internet connection, lack of follower involvement through interaction, and lack of human resources.

Additional Information: Penelitian ini membahas mengenai Pemanfaatan Fitur Media Sosial Instagram sebagai Sarana Promosi Szeto Academy. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pemanfaatan fitur media sosial Instagram sebagai sarana promosi Szeto Academy. Metode penulisan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode data primer dan data sekunder, sedangkan metode pengumpulan data didasarkan pada wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi data sekunder. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa Szeto Academy belum efektiv dalam memanfaatkan fitur media sosial Instagram. Konsep promosi Szeto Academy belum bisa menarik perhatian, konten-konten yang dibuat pun tidak ada konten hiburan. Fitur-fitur Instagram baru digunakan hampir setengahnya dimanfaatkan oleh Szeto Academy. Dampak yang diperoleh melalui promosi adalah dengan meningkatnya jumlah pendaftar dan brand awareness. Hambatan-hambatan yang dihadapi selama proses pemanfaatan fitur media sosial instagram sebagai sarana promosi yaitu koneksi internet tidak stabil, kurangnya keterlibatan pengikut melalui interaksi, dan kurangnya sumber daya manusia
