Abstract

Teaching material is one of the most important learning media. Teaching material that utilizing technology and can be used for independent learning is e-module. The aims of this research are to know validition, practicality, & effectiviness e-module based on Relating, Experiencing, Applying, Cooperating, Transferring (REACT) model improve the ability of students’ understanding mathematics concept. This research addopted the ADDIE Research and Development methods (Analyze, Design, Development, Imlementation, and Evaluation). The subjects in this study were 40 students of class VIII SMPN 3 Cikupa. Based on the assessment by validators of material experts and media experts, 82,92% and 83,71% were obtained in the very valid category. The results of the responses of mathematics teacher and students respectively obtained score of 80,57% and 83,47% which were categorized as "Very Practical". Then the result of the effectiveness test using N-gain results shows an increase was 76,3% in the effective category. Based on these results it can be concluded that e-module based on Relating, Experiencing, Applying, Cooperating, Transferring (REACT) model are valid, practical, and effective to improve the ability of students’ understanding mathematics concept.

Additional Information: Bahan ajar merupakan salah satu media pembelajaran yang sangat penting. Bahan ajar yang dalam penggunaannya memanfaatkan teknologi dan dapat digunakan untuk belajar secara mandiri salah satunya adalah e-modul. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kevalidan, kepraktisan, dan keefektifan e-modul berbasis model REACT untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan yaitu penelitian dan pengembangan atau R&D dengan model ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Development, Imlementation, dan Evaluation). Subjek dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 40 siswa kelas VIII SMPN 3 Cikupa. Berdasarkan penilaian yang dilakukan oleh validator ahli materi dan ahli media diperoleh masing-masing sebesar 82,92% dan 83,71% dengan kategori sangat valid. Hasil respon guru dan siswa diperoleh sebesar 80,57% dan 83,47% yang berada pada kategori sangat praktis. Adapun hasil uji efektivitas menggunakan N-gain menunjukkan peningkatan sebesar 76,3% yang dikategorikan efektif. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa e-modul berbasis model (Relating, Experiencing, Applying, Cooperating, Transferring) REACT valid, praktis, dan efektif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa.
