Abstract

In the industrial world, one important factor that needs to be considered is human resources. The excessive workload received by workers can cause losses to the workers themselves and the company. To minimize this, workload measurement needs to be done to determine the level of workload experienced by workers. This study discusses the analysis of employee workload at UMKM Tahu Putra Harapan Jaya based on 2 approaches, namely physiological and working time. Employees who were the subjects of research were 3 people in the production department. The results of the workload obtained based on a physiological approach using the cardiovascular load method, for employee 1 the value obtained was 30.75%, employee 2 was 32.52% and employee 3 was 32.81% so that all employees fell into the category of medium workload. Furthermore, the results of workload processing using the energy consumption method, for employee 1 the value obtained is 5,495 Kcal / minute, employee 2 is 5,670 Kcal / minute and employee 3 is 5,582 Kcal / minute so that all employees fall into the category of medium workload. Furthermore, the results of workload processing using the full time equivalent method, for employee 1 the value obtained is 1,05 FTE index, employee 2 is 2,179 FTE index and employee 3 is 1,30 FTE index so that employees 1 fall into the normal category and employee 2 and 3 enter the overload category. Some of the proposed improvements obtained from the fishbone diagram by considering the results of the workload obtained in the previous 3 data processing include increasing the number of employees working by 1 person, holding retraining so that each employee has equal skills, redesigning the workplace and dividing employee work shifts.

Additional Information: Dalam dunia industri salah satu faktor penting yang perlu diperhatikan adalah sumber daya manusia. Beban kerja berlebihan yang diterima oleh pekerja bisa menyebabkan kerugian bagi pekerja itu sendiri maupun perusahaan. Untuk meminimalisir hal tersebut pengukuran beban kerja perlu dilakukan untuk mengetahui tingkat beban kerja yang dialami oleh pekerja. Penelitian ini membahas tentang analisa beban kerja karyawan di UMKM Tahu Putra Harapan Jaya berdasarkan 2 pendekatan yaitu fisiologis dan waktu kerja. karyawan yang menjadi subjek penelitian sebanyak 3 orang pada bagian produksi. Hasil beban kerja yang didapat berdasarkan pendekatan fisiologis menggunakan metode cardiovascular load, untuk karyawan 1 nilai yang didapat sebesar 30,75%, karyawan 2 sebesar 32,52% dan karyawan 3 sebesar 32,81% sehingga keseluruhan karyawan masuk kedalam kategori beban kerja sedang. Selanjutnya hasil pengolahan beban kerja menggunakan metode konsumsi energi, untuk karyawan 1 nilai yang didapat sebesar 5,495 Kkal/menit, karyawan 2 sebesar 5,670 Kkal/menit dan karyawan 3 sebesar 5,582 Kkal/menit sehingga keseluruhan karyawan masuk kedalam kategori beban kerja sedang. Selanjutnya hasil pengolahan beban kerja menggunakan metode full time equivalent, untuk karyawan 1 nilai yang didapat sebesar 1,05 indeks FTE, karyawan 2 sebesar 2,179 indeks FTE dan karyawan 3 sebesar 1,30 indeks FTE sehingga karyawan 1 masuk kedalam kategori normal dan karyawan 2 dan 3 masuk kedalam kategori overload. Beberapa usulan perbaikan yang didapat dari fishbone diagram dengan mempertimbangkan hasil beban kerja yang didapat pada 3 pengolahan data sebelumnya diantaranya adalah menambah jumlah karyawan yang bekerja sebanyak 1 orang, mengadakan pelatihan kembali agar setiap karyawan memiliki keterampilan yang merata, melakukan redesain ulang tempat kerja dan pembagian shift kerja karyawan.
