Abstract
Children are the next generation of the nation where the good and bad future of a nation depends on the good and bad condition of children today so that good treatment of children must be done by everyone so that children can grow and develop properly so that protection of children is needed to ensure children's lives. But in reality, the implementation of legal protection for children has not been carried out perfectly so that there are still many children, especially street children, who do not get protection, one of which is legal protection. The problem identification in this study is How is the implementation of legal protection for street children as victims of economic child exploitation in Bekasi Regency? and How are the efforts of the government and the people of Bekasi Regency in tackling acts of child exploitation? The theories used are Legal Protection Theory and Criminal Law Policy Theory. The method used is empirical juridical with qualitative research type, using primary data sources obtained from respondents, informants and sources through interviews and secondary data obtained from the approach to the law. The results of the study found that only a few street children received legal protection to exercise their rights in the form of the right to education and get social assistance and get legal assistance if the case is viral, this is because not all street children know the procedures related to implementing legal protection for them and the efforts made to overcome acts of child exploitation are in accordance with the relevant regulations, but these efforts have not been able to reduce the number of exploited street children in Bekasi Regency. The conclusion of this problem is that it is not known by all street children and communities in Bekasi Regency that there are procedures for implementing legal protection for economically exploited street children and there are various obstacles to overcoming child exploitation. Suggestions that can be made, the government with various elements to socialize the values of Pancasila to foster a sense of sympathy and empathy so that there is no more omission of children who need legal protection and impose criminal sanctions for perpetrators so as not to repeat these actions.

| Additional Information: | Anak merupakan generasi penerus bangsa dimana baik buruknya masa depan suatu bangsa bergantung pada baik buruknya kondisi anak saat ini sehingga perlakuan yang baik kepada anak harus dilakukan setiap orang agar anak dapat tumbuh dan berkembang dengan baik sehingga perlu perlindungan terhadap anak untuk menjamin kehidupan anak. Namun kenyataannya, pengimplementasian perlindungan hukum terhadap anak belum terlaksanakan dengan sempurna sehingga masih banyak anak terutama pada anak jalanan tidak mendapatkan perlindungan, salah satunya perlindungan hukum. Identifikasi masalah dalam penelitian ini yaitu Bagaimana implementasi perlindungan hukum terhadap anak jalanan sebagai korban eksploitasi anak secara ekonomi di Kabupaten Bekasi? serta Bagaimana upaya pemerintah dan masyarakat Kabupaten Bekasi dalam menanggulangi tindakan eksploitasi anak? Teori yang digunakan ialah Teori Perlindungan Hukum dan Teori Kebijakan Hukum Pidana. Metode yang digunakan ialah yuridis empiris dengan jenis penelitian kualitatif, menggunakan sumber data primer yang diperoleh dari responden, informan dan narasumber melalui wawancara dan data sekunder yang diperoleh dari pendekatan terhadap undang-undang. Hasil penelitian ditemukan bahwa hanya beberapa anak jalanan yang mendapatkan perlindungan hukum untuk melaksanakan hak-hak yang mereka miliki berupa hak memperoleh pendidikan dan mendapatkan bantuan sosial serta mendapatkan bantuan hukum jika kasus viral, hal ini dikarenakan tidak semua anak jalanan mengetahui adanya prosedur terkait pengimplementasian perlindungan hukum terhadap mereka dan upaya yang dilakukan untuk menanggulangi tindakan eksploitasi anak sudah sesuai dengan peraturan terkait, namun upaya tersebut belum bisa mengurangi angka anak jalanan yang tereksploitasi di Kabupaten Bekasi. Kesimpulan dari permasalahan ini ialah tidak diketahui oleh seluruh anak jalanan dan masyarakat di Kabupaten Bekasi bahwa adanya prosedur untuk mengimplementasikan perlindungan hukum kepada anak jalanan yang tereksploitasi secara ekonomi dan adanya berbagai hambatan untuk melakukan upaya penanggulangan eksploitasi anak. Saran yang dapat dilakukan, pemerintah dengan berbagai unsur melakukan sosialisasi nilai-nilai Pancasila untuk menumbuhkan rasa simpati dan empati agar tidak ada lagi pembiaran terhadap anak-anak yang membutuhkan perlindungan hukum serta memberlakukan sanksi pidana bagi pelaku agar tidak mengulangi perbuatan tersebut. | |||||||||
