Abstract

This research aims to describe the implementation of the parenting counseling program at PKBM Janji Baik the implementation of the home visit program at PKBM Janji Baik and the increase in student learning motivation results after participating in the parenting counseling and home visit program at PKBM Janji Baik. The approach used is a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. The data collection techniques and guidelines used are observation, interviews and documentation. The data sources in this study consisted of 8 people, namely 1 head of PKBM Janji Baik, 1 head of the counselor division, 3 parents/guardians of students and 3 students. Based on the results of research that has been conducted, it shows that: (1) the implementation of the parenting counseling program has gone well and can provide benefits for parents in understanding the character and education of students. It is said to be going well because parents have implemented parenting in accordance with the indicators in the implementation of the parenting counseling program. (2) the implementation of the home visit program has gone well. It is said to be going well because the implementation of the home visit program is in accordance with the indicators for the implementation of the home visit program. (3) students' learning motivation can be said to be good. This can be seen based on existing indicators, starting from students who have the drive to learn to the goals they want to realize.

Additional Information: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pelaksanaan program konseling parenting pada PKBM Janji Baik, pelaksanaan program home visit pada PKBM Janji Baik dan peningkatan hasil motivasi belajar peserta didik setelah mengikuti program konseling parenting dan home visit di PKBM Janji Baik. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Adapun teknik dan pedoman pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari 8 orang, yaitu 1 orang kepala PKBM Janji Baik, 1 orang ketua divisi konselor, 3 orang tua/wali murid dan 3 orang peserta didik. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan menunjukkan bahwa: (1) pelaksanaan program konseling parenting telah berjalan dengan baik dan dapat memberi manfaat untuk orang tua dalam memahami karakter dan pendidikan peserta didik. Dikatakan berjalan baik karena orang tua telah menerapkan parenting sesuai dengan indikator pada implementasi program koseling parenting. (2) pelaksanaan program home visit telah berjalan dengan baik. Dikatakan berjalan baik karena pelaksanaan program home visit sudah sesuai dengan indikator implementasi program home visit. (3) motivasi belajar peserta didik dapat dikatakan baik. Hal tersebut dapat dilihat berdasarkan indikator yang ada yaitu mulai dari peserta didik yang mempunyai dorongan dalam belajar hingga cita-cita yang ingin diwujudkan.
