Abstract

Parents are interested in choosing an educational institution so that their children receive quality education. One of the Islamic-based educational institutions that has undergone a transformation into a modern one is Daar El-Qolam 3 Dza Izza campus. The purpose of this research is to find out the rational reasons parents choose Modern Islamic Boarding School Daar El-Qolam 3 Dza Izza Campus as their child's educational institution. This research was conducted using a qualitative method with a narrative approach. To collect data, observation, interviews, and documentation studies were used. The data sources for this study were parents and students who attended modern boarding school daar el-qolam 3 Dza Izza campus. Data analysis used data reduction, data presentation, verification and conclusion. The results showed that there are many reasonable reasons for parents to choose Modern Islamic Boarding School Daar El-Qolam 3 Dza Izza Campus as a place for their children's education. One of the reasonable reasons is that the institution has the ability to educate religiously and socially with the aim of balancing the knowledge of spirituality and morality in children and getting the value of the benefits of teaching applied. However, before parents make a choice, there are several factors to consider and family habits when choosing their child's school in the same educational institution.

Additional Information: Orang tua memiliki ketertarikan melakukan tindakan memilih lembaga pendidikan agar anak menerima pendidikan berkualitas. Salah satu lembaga pendidikan berbasis islam yang telah mengalami transformasi menjadi modern adalah Daar El-Qolam 3 kampus Dza Izza . Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui alasan rasional orang tua memilih Pondok Pesantren Modern Daar El-Qolam 3 Kampus Dza Izza sebagai lembaga pendidikan anak mereka. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan narrative. Untuk mengumpulkan data, observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi digunakan. Sumber data untuk penelitian ini adalah orang tua dan santri yang bersekolah di pondok pesantren modern daar el-qolam 3 kampus Dza Izza . Analisa data penelitian menggunakan reduksi data, penyajian data, verfikasi dan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa banyak alasan masuk akal bagi orang tua untuk memilih Pondok Pesantren Modern Daar El-Qolam 3 Kampus Dza Izza sebagai tempat pendidikan anak. Salah satu alasan masuk akal adalah institusi memiliki kemampuan untuk mendidik secara agama dan sosial dengan tujuan untuk keseimbangan antara pengetahuan spritualitas dan moralitas pada anak dan mendapatkan nilai manfaat dari pengajaran yang diterapkan. Namun orang tua sebelum melakukan tindakan memilih ada beberapa faktor pertimbangan dan kebiasaan keluarga saat memilih sekolah anak mereka di institusi pendidikan yang sama.
