Abstract

Tanjung Lesung coast is prone to disasters (tsunamis) and is located in Pandeglang Regency, Banten Province. The tsunami that occurred on December 22, 2018, resulted in some of the infrastructure and natural resources experiencing disturbances and even damage. The results of previous research conducted at Tanjung Lesung Beach in 2017 show that Tanjung Lesung Beach is in a very suitable category for beach tourism. Therefore, this study aims to evaluate the suitability and carrying capacity of Tanjung Lesung Coastal disaster awareness tourism. The results showed that the suitability value of disaster awareness tourism in the Tanjung Lesung Coastal area was included in the appropriate category at Station 1 (Ladda Beach) and Station 2 (Lalassa Beach). Furthermore, station 3 (Bodur Beach) obtained an inappropriate value due to the need for more infrastructure that supports disaster awareness tourism. The carrying capacity of the area (DDK) for beach recreation on Ladda Beach is 43 people per day, and the carrying capacity for beach recreation on Lalassa Beach is 52 people per day. The carrying capacity for swimming activities on Ladda Beach can accommodate 22 people per day, and the carrying capacity for swimming activities on Lalassa Beach can accommodate 26 people per day. The carrying capacity value is estimated so visitors can swim comfortably on the coast of Tanjung Lesung. The current carrying capacity value compared to the carrying capacity value in the previous study (before the tsunami) showed a decrease in the carrying capacity value.

Additional Information:	Pantai Tanjung Lesung rawan bencana (tsunami) dan terletak di Kabupaten Pandeglang, Provinsi Banten. Tsunami yang terjadi pada 22 Desember 2018 mengakibatkan sebagian infrastruktur dan sumber daya alam mengalami gangguan bahkan kerusakan. Hasil penelitian sebelumnya yang dilakukan di Pantai Tanjung Lesung pada tahun 2017 menunjukkan bahwa Pantai Tanjung Lesung berada dalam kategori yang sangat cocok untuk wisata pantai. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi kesesuaian dan daya dukung wisata sadar bencana Pesisir Tanjung Lesung. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai kesesuaian wisata sadar bencana di wilayah Pesisir Tanjung Lesung masuk dalam kategori sesuai di Stasiun 1 (Pantai Ladda) dan Stasiun 2 (Pantai Lalassa). Selanjutnya, stasiun 3 (Pantai Bodur) memperoleh nilai yang kurang sesuai karena kebutuhan akan lebih banyak infrastruktur yang mendukung wisata sadar bencana. Daya dukung kawasan (DDK) rekreasi pantai di Pantai Ladda adalah 43 orang per hari, dan daya dukung rekreasi pantai di Pantai Lalassa adalah 52 orang per hari. Daya dukung kegiatan berenang di Pantai Ladda dapat menampung 22 orang per hari, dan daya dukung untuk kegiatan berenang di Pantai Lalassa dapat menampung 26 orang per hari. Nilai daya dukung diperkirakan sehingga pengunjung dapat berenang dengan nyaman di pesisir Tanjung Lesung. Nilai daya dukung saat ini dibandingkan dengan nilai daya dukung pada penelitian sebelumnya (sebelum tsunami) menunjukkan penurunan nilai daya dukung.
