Abstract
This study aimed to determine the effectiveness of using the encyclopedia of ferns in the Tukung Gede Mountain Nature Reserve on the pteridophyta sub-concept on the learning outcomes of 10th grade high school students. This research is a quantitative study using a quasi-experimental method, wtih a one group pretestposttest design. The population in this study were all 10th grade students at SMAIT Putri Al-Hanif Cilegon. Sampling was carried out using simple random sampling technique. The research sample consisted of one class with 23 students. The instruments used were objective tests in the form of multiple choice questions, and psychomotor observation sheets assessing practicum group reports. The results showed that the average value of cognitive abilities in the pre test was 32.17 and became 76.30 in the post test. There is an increase in the score based on the calculation of the n-gain value that is 0.65 which is included in the medium category. The average value of psychomotor abilities is 92.85 which is in the very good category. The results of the t-test analysis showed that the significance value was < 0.05, it means that H1 was accepted and H0 was rejected. Therefore, it can be concluded that the Encyclopedia of Ferns in the Mount Tukung Gede Nature Reserve is effectively used as a learning resource in learning the sub-concept of pteridophyta on the learning outcomes of 10th grade high school students.

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif menggunakan metode quasi eksperimen, yang menggunakan desain penelitian one group pretest-postest design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini yaitu seluruh peserta didik kelas X di SMAIT Putri Al-Hanif Cilegon. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik simple random sampling. Sampel penelitian ini terdiri dari satu kelas dengan jumlah peserta didik sebanyak 23 orang. Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu tes objektif berupa soal pilihan ganda, dan lembar observasi penilaian laporan kelompok pengamatan psikomotorik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai rata-rata kemampuan kognitif pre test 32,17 dan menjadi 76,30 pada post test. Terdapat peningkatan skor berdasarkan hasil perhitungan nilai ngain yang diperoleh sebesar 0,65 termasuk dalam kategori sedang. Nilai rata-rata kemampuan psikomotorik sebesar 92,85 yang termasuk kategori sangat baik. Hasil analisis uji t menunjukkan bahwa nilai signifikansi < 0,05, yang berarti H1 diterima dan H0 ditolak, oleh karena itu dapat disimpulkan bahwa Ensiklopedia Tumbuhan Paku Cagar Alam Gunung Tukung Gede efektif digunakan sebagai sumber belajar dalam pembelajaran sub konsep pteridophyta terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik kelas X SMA. | |||||||||
