Abstract

This study aims to determine the numeracy skills of MTsN 1 Kota Serang students better after the use of Labirin Game; The Board Game and students' perceptions of learning mathematics using Labirin Game; The Board Game. This research is quantitative research with pre-experimental research method. The population of this study were all students in class VII MTsN 1 Kota Serang, while the sample amounted to 76 students, this study only two classes will be taken as samples in this study, namely the experimental class. The experimental class used a game-based learning experiment Labirin: The Board Game. This study used numeracy tests, questionnaires, and documentation to collect research data. The results showed that (1) Students' numeracy skills were better after the use of Labirin Game; The Board Game, (2) Labirin Game; The Board Game can be used as a learning medium for whole numbers and fractions in math learning activities and help students learn math more easily.

Additional Information: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan numerasi siswa MTsN 1 Kota Serang lebih baik setelah penggunaan Permainan Labirin; The Board Game dan persepsi siswa terhadap pembelajaran matematika menggunakan Permainan Labirin; The Board Game. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode penelitian pre-eksperimental. Populasi penelitian ini adalah semua siswa di kelas VII MTsN 1 Kota Serang, sedangkan sampelnya berjumlah 76 siswa, penelitian ini hanya dua kelas yang akan diambil sebagai sampel dalam penelitian ini, yaitu kelas eksperimen. Kelas eksperimen menggunakan percobaan pembelajaran berbasis permainan Labirin: The Board Game. Penelitian ini menggunakan tes kemampuan numerasi, angket, dan dokumentasi untuk mengumpulkan data penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) Kemampuan numerasi siswa lebih baik setelah penggunaan Permainan Labirin; The Board Game, (2) Permainan Labirin; The Board Game dapat digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran untuk materi bilangan bulat dan pecahan dalam kegiatan pembelajaran matematika dan membantu siswa belajar matematika dengan lebih mudah.
