Abstract
Understanding concepts was the ability of students to construct meaning or understanding based on the initial knowledge that students have. This understanding refers to the ability to understand and interpret the material that has been given. Students' understanding of concepts is measured by giving multiple-choice tests. The test was used to measure how much students understand concepts in viral material. Students' creative thinking skills are measured using observation sheets. This study was conducted to determine the influence of the PjBL (Project Based Learning) learning model with the gallery walk method to facilitate concept understanding and creative thinking of SMA Negeri 1 Ciruas students on viral material. The research method used was randomized control-group pretest-posttest design. Sampling was carried out using random sampling techniques consisting of two classes, namely the experimental class and the control class. Data collection techniques used tests, observation, and documentation. Data analysis techniques using t-tests (t-tests) to test hypotheses. The results of the hypothesis test obtained a calculated t value of 0.000 < 0.05, meaning that H0 was rejected and H1 was accepted. The results of this study show that there is an influence of the PjBL (Project Based Learning) learning model with the gallery walk method to facilitate concept understanding and creative thinking of SMA Negeri 1 Ciruas students on virus material.

| Additional Information: | Pemahaman konsep merupakan kemampuan siswa dalam mengkonstruksi makna atau pemahaman berdasarkan pengetahuan awal yang dimiliki siswa. Pemahaman ini mengacu pada kemampuan untuk mengerti, memahami serta memaknai materi yang telah diberikan. Pemahaman konsep siswa diukur dengan cara memberikan tes pilihan ganda. Tes tersebut digunakan untuk mengukur seberapa besar siswa yang memahami konsep pada materi virus. Keterampilan berpikir kreatif siswa diukur menggunakan lembar observasi. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan model pembelajaran PjBL (Project Based Learning) dengan metode gallery walk untuk memfasilitasi pemahaman konsep dan berpikir kreatif siswa SMA Negeri 1 Ciruas pada materi virus. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu randomized control-group pretest-posttest design. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik random sampling yang terdiri dari dua kelas, yaitu kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data dengan menggunakan uji t (t-test) untuk menguji hipotesis. Hasil uji hipotesis diperoleh nilai t hitung sebesar 0,000 < 0,05 artinya H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa ada pengaruh penggunaan model pembelajaran PjBL (Project Based Learning) dengan metode gallery walk untuk memfasilitasi pemahaman konsep dan berpikir kreatif siswa SMA Negeri 1 Ciruas pada materi virus. | |||||||||
