Abstract
This thesis is entitled the influence of population, education level and investment on the unemployment rate in the Regency of Banten Province in 2013-2017. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of population, senior secondary education level, education level of higher education and investment partially and simultaneously towards the unemployment rate. The research method uses quantitative methods. The source of research data is secondary data in the form of panel data, namely cross section data and time series data obtained from the Banten Province Central Bureau of Statistics. Data collection techniques were carried out by documentation study. Data analysis using panel data regression. Based on the results of data processing, it is known that the R Square value is 0.981127. This shows that variations in the unemployment rate variable in Banten Province can be explained by 98.11% by the variable population, senior secondary education level, education level of Higher Education and investment while the remainder is explained by other variables not examined. The results of the t test, known to the population, the level of education of Higher Education and investment have a partially significant effect on the level of unemployment, the level of education in senior high school does not partially have a significant effect on the unemployment rate. F test results, known variable population, high school education level, education level of Higher Education and investment have a significant effect simultaneously on the unemployment rate in the Regency and City of Banten Province. . | Additional Information: | Skripsi ini berjudul pengaruh jumlah penduduk, tingkat pendidikan dan investasi terhadap tingkat pengangguran di Kabupaten Kota Provinsi Banten tahun 2013-2017. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh jumlah penduduk, tingkat pendidikan SLTA, tingkat pendidikan Perguruan Tinggi dan investasi secara parsial dan simultan terhadap terhadap tingkat pengangguran. Metode penelitian menggunakan metode kuantitatif. Sumber data penelitian adalah data sekunder dalam bentuk data panel, yaitu data cross section dan data time series yang diperoleh dari Badan Pusat Statistik Provinsi Banten. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan studi dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan regresi data panel. Berdasarkan hasil pengolahan data, diketahui nilai R Square sebesar 0.981127. Hal ini menunjukkan variasi pada variabel tingkat pengangguran di Provinsi Banten dapat dijelaskan sebesar 98.11% oleh variabel jumlah penduduk, tingkat pendidikan SLTA, tingkat pendidikan Perguruan Tinggi dan investasi sedangkan sisanya dijelaskan oleh variabel lainnya yang tidak diteliti. Hasil uji t, diketahui jumlah penduduk, tingkat pendidikan Perguruan Tinggi dan investasi berpengaruh signifikan secara parsial terhadap tingkat penganguran, tingkat pendidikan SLTA tidak berpengaruh signifikan secara parsial terhadap tingkat pengangguran. Hasil uji F, diketahui variabel jumlah penduduk, tingkat pendidikan SLTA, tingkat pendidikan Perguruan Tinggi dan investasi berpengaruh signifikan secara simultan terhadap tingkat pengangguran di Kabupaten dan Kota Provinsi Banten.
