Abstract

The low level of motivation of students to learn science due to limited teaching materials that are able to urge active participation of students during science lessons is the basis of this research. Thus, research and development of SETS-based interactive e-LKPD on the theme of global warming to foster learning motivation of junior high school students was conducted. The scope of the research objectives is to analyze the level of validity and students' response to the SETS-based interactive e-LKPD on the theme of global warming. Research and Development (R&D) is used as a method in this study with Thiagarajan's 4-D model which is limited to the development stage. The research was conducted in the odd semester of FY 2022/2023 in 3 junior high schools in Tangerang Regency with a sample of 30 seventh grade students. The use of instruments includes validation questionnaires for material experts, teaching materials, practitioners and student response tests. Each activity contained in this e-LKPD is adjusted to the SETS learning syntax which is integrated with learning motivation indicators. SETSbased interactive e-LKPD products are in the "very valid" category with a percentage of 92.64% and students' responses to SETS-based interactive e-LKPD products are in the "very good" category with a percentage of 95.56%, so it is very feasible to use in science learning to foster student learning motivation.

Additional Information: Rendahnya tingkat motivasi belajar peserta didik terhadap pembelajaran IPA akibat terbatasnya bahan ajar yang mampu mendesak keikutsertaan peserta didik secara aktif saat pelajaran IPA menjadi landasan penelitian ini. Sehingga, dilakukan penelitian dan pengembangan e-LKPD interaktif berbasis SETS tema global warming untuk menumbuhkan motivasi belajar peserta didik SMP. Cakupan tujuan penelitian ialah menganalisis tingkat kevalidan dan respon peserta didik terhadap e-LKPD interaktif berbasis SETS tema global warming. Research and Development (R&D) digunakan sebagai metode dalam penelitian ini dengan model 4-D karya Thiagarajan yang terbatas sampai tahap development. Penelitian terlaksana pada semester ganjil TA 2022/2023 di 3 SMP kawasan Kabupaten Tangerang dengan sampel 30 peserta didik kelas VII. Penggunaan instrumen meliputi lembar angket validasi untuk ahli materi, bahan ajar, praktisi serta uji respon peserta didik. Setiap aktivitas yang terdapat dalam e-LKPD ini disesuaikan dengan sintaks pembelajaran SETS yang terintegrasi dengan indikator motivasi belajar. Produk e-LKPD interaktif berbasis SETS berada di kategori “sangat valid” dengan persentase sebesar 92,64% dan respon peserta didik terhadap produk eLKPD interaktif berbasis SETS berada di kategori “sangat baik” dengan persentase sebesar 95,56%, sehingga sangat layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran IPA guna menumbuhkan motivasi belajar peserta didik.
