Abstract

Technological improvements are currently increasingly developing and have provided many benefits for humans. An example of the development of technology in the field of communication is the smartphone. Smartphones among students provide their own advantages and disadvantages, especially for the world of education. To improve the quality and effectiveness of learning, the use of auxiliary learning media should have an impact on the teaching and learning process. Utilization of appropriate and appropriate learning media can make it more effective and support the teaching and learning process at the Serang City Agricultural State Vocational School. The aim of the research is to develop Augmented Reality-based learning media which is used as learning media in the Basics of Electrical Engineering subject. This research is a type of research and development or Research and Development (R&D). The research method used is development research which adapts the Waterfall development model which consists of four stages, namely (1) Analysis, (2) Design, (3) Implementation, (4) ) Verification, and (5) Maintenance. The final product resulting from this research is Augmented Reality-based learning media which is the main object of research. The methods used in collecting data in this research include interviews, observation, and questionnaires. The testing of the appropriateness level of learning media involved 3 media experts and material experts, and 29 students in class The level of suitability of Augmented Reality-Based Interactive Learning Media Basics of Electrical Engineering refers to the suitability of the media and the suitability of the material. The test results from media experts were that they got an average score of 48 which was in the "Very Decent" category with a score range of x ≥ 42. Furthermore, the test results from material experts got an average of 21.333 which indicated the "Very Decent" category with a range of score x ≥ 18. The assessment of user respondents (students) regarding this AR-based learning media is in the "Very Appropriate" category with a score range of x ≥ 36 with an average score of 40.655.

Additional Information: Peningkatan teknologi saat ini semakin berkembang dan telah memberikan banyak manfaat bagi manusia. Contoh perkembangan dari teknologi dalam bidang komunikasi yaitu Smartphone. Smartphone dikalangan pelajar memberi kekurangan dan kelebihan tersendiri, terutama bagi dunia pendidikan. untuk meningkatkan kualitas dan mengefektifkan pembelajaran, penggunaan media pembelajaran bantu seharusnya berdampak pada proses belajar mengajar. Pemanfaatan media pembelajaran yang tepat dan sesuai dapat mengefektifkan dan menunjang proses belajar mengajar di SMK Negeri Pertanian Kota Serang. Tujuan penelitian adalah mengembangkan media pembelajaran berbasis Augmented Reality yang digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran pada mata pelajaran Dasar-Dasar Teknik Ketenagalistrikan. Penelitian ini merupakan merupakan jenis penelitian dan pengembangan atau Research and Development (R&D) Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian pengembangan yang mengadaptasi model pengembangan Waterfall yang terdiri dari empat tahapan yaitu (1) Analisis, (2) Desain, (3) Implementasi, (4) Verifikasi, dan (5) Pemeliharaan. Produk akhir yang dihasilkan dari penelitian ini berupa media pembelajaran berbasis Augmented Reality yang menjadi objek utama penelitian. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini meliputi wawancara, observasi, dan kuisioner (angket). Adapun pengujian tingkat kelayakan media pembelajaran melibatkan 3 orang ahli media dan ahli materi, dan 29 orang peserta didik kelas X.1 Program Keahlian Teknik Instalasi Tenaga Listrik SMK Negeri Pertanian Kota Serang sebagai uji coba pengguna. Tingkat kelayakan Media Pembelajaran Interaktif Dasar-Dasar Teknik Ketenagalistrikan Berbasis Augmented Reality merujuk pada kelayakan media dan kelayakan materi. Hasil pengujian dari para ahli media yaitu mendapatkan nilai rata-rata 48 yang berada pada kategori “Sangat Layak” dengan rentang skor x ≥ 42. Selanjutnya, hasil pengujian dari para ahli materi mendapatkan rata-rata 21,333 yang menunjukan kategori “Sangat Layak” dengan rentang skor x ≥ 18. Penilaian responden pengguna (peserta didik) terhadap media pembelajaran berbasis AR ini berada pada kategori “Sangat Layak” dengan rentang skor x ≥ 36 dengan rata-rata skor sebesar 40,655.
