Abstract

The background of this study is the low understanding of students about the story. Where students still find it difficult to do math problems in the form of story problems. Therefore, this study aims to: 1) develop learning media in the form of interactive digital modules based on mathematical literacy to increase students' understanding of story problems; 2) knowing the validity and feasibility of digital modules; 3) know the effectiveness of using digital modules. The development model used is ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Data was collected through interviews, questionnaires, and tests. The test subjects of the digital module are class VII C. Data analysis techniques include validity, feasibility, and effectiveness tests. The results of this study are: 1) The level of material validity is included in the "Valid" category obtained from 2 material experts and the validity of media included in the "Very Valid" category obtained from 2 media experts; 2) The eligibility rate of the digital module is based on the average student response questionnaire of 80.78%. The digital modules developed fall into the "Very Decent" category; 3) the digital module meets the "Moderately Effective" effectiveness category with an increase in understanding of the story by 0.72 which falls into the "High" category. The conclusion obtained is that interactive digital modules based on mathematical literacy are said to be feasible and good because they have aspects of validity, feasibility, and effectiveness.

Additional Information: Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah rendahnya pemahaman siswa terhadap soal cerita. Dimana siswa masih merasa kesulitan untuk mengerjakan permasalahan matematika dalam bentuk soal cerita. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: 1) mengembangkan media pembelajaran berupa modul digital interaktif berbasis literasi matematika untuk meningkatkan pemahaman siswa terhadap soal cerita; 2) mengetahui kevalidan dan kelayakan modul digital; 3) mengetahui keefektifan penggunaan modul digital. Model pengembangan yang digunakan adalah ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, angket, dan tes. Subyek uji coba modul digital adalah kelas VII C. Teknik analisis data meliputi uji validitas, kelayakan, dan keefektifan. Hasil penelitian ini adalah: 1) Tingkat validitas materi termasuk dalam kategori “Valid” yang didapatkan dari 2 ahli materi dan validitas media yang termasuk dalam kategori “Sangat Valid” yang diperoleh dari 2 ahli media; 2). Tingkat kelayakan dari modul digital berdasarkan rata-rata angket respon siswa sebesar 80,78%. Modul digital yang dikembangkan masuk dalam kategori “Sangat Layak”; 3) modul digital memenuhi kategori keefektifan “Cukup Efektif” dengan peningkatan pemahaman soal cerita sebesar 0,72 yang masuk dalam kategori “Tinggi”. Kesimpulan yang diperoleh bahwa modul digital interaktif berbasis literasi matematika dikatakan layak dan baik karena memenuhi aspek kevalidan, kelayakan, dan keefektifan.
