Abstract
The main problem of this research is how the online media Detik.com and Kompas.com frame the reporting of the Ferdy Sambo case. This research uses descriptive qualitative methods. The source of research data comes from news published by the media Detik.com and Kompas.com. Data collection techniques use documentation, listening and note-taking techniques. The data validity technique uses source triangulation, namely Zhongdang Pan & Gerald M. Kosicki's framing theory which focuses on four structures including syntax, script, thematic and rhetorical. Data analysis techniques use reduction, data display, and verification or conclusions. The amount of data analyzed was 26 data with details of 13 Detik.com data and 13 Kompas.com data which were adjusted to the time of the witness trial for the defendant Ferdy Sambo. Based on several data that have been analyzed, the narrative formed by Detik.com media focuses more on Ferdy Sambo's mistakes and has negative connotations in both the title and content of the news. Based on several data that have been analyzed, the news presented predominantly discusses Ferdy Sambo's views in the trial, such as the topic of apologies, denials of infidelity, and so on. The narrative formed by the Kompas.com media focuses more on neutrality and minimizes negative connotations towards the figure of Ferdy Sambo both in the title and content of the news. Based on some of the data that has been analyzed, the news presented predominantly discusses Ferdy Sambo's views in a more neutral manner, such as the topic of transferring money, admitting mistakes, and so on.

| Additional Information: | Pokok permasalahan penelitian ini adalah bagaimana media online Detik.com dan Kompas.com membingkai pemberitaan kasus Ferdy Sambo. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif. Sumber data penelitian berasal dari berita yang dimuat oleh media Detik.com dan Kompas.com. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik dokumentasi, simak, dan catat. Teknik keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi sumber yaitu teori framing Zhongdang Pan & Gerald M. Kosicki yang berfokus pada empat struktur antara lain sintaksis, skrip, tematik, dan retoris. Teknik analisis data menggunakan reduksi, data display, dan verifikasi atau kesimpulan. Jumlah data yang dianalisis yaitu 26 data dengan rincian 13 data Detik.com dan 13 data Kompas.com yang disesuaikan dengan waktu persidangan saksi atas terdakwa Ferdy Sambo. Berdasarkan beberapa data yang telah dianalisis, narasi yang dibentuk oleh media Detik.com lebih mengarah pada kesalahan Ferdy Sambo hingga berkonotasi negatif baik dalam judul maupun isi beritanya. Berdasarkan beberapa data yang telah dianalisis, berita yang disajikan lebih dominan membahas pandangan Ferdy Sambo dalam persidangan seperti topik permintaan maaf, bantahan perselingkuhan, dan lain-lain. Narasi yang dibentuk oleh media Kompas.com lebih mengarah pada kenetralan hingga meminimalisasi konotasi negatif terhadap sosok Ferdy Sambo baik dalam judul maupun isi beritanya. Berdasarkan beberapa data yang telah dianalisis, berita yang disajikan lebih dominan membahas pandangan Ferdy Sambo secara lebih netral seperti topik pemindahan uang, pengakuan kesalahan, dan lain-lain. | |||||||||
