Abstract
College students are the productive age group vulnerable to health problems, including nutritional issues. Many factors influence the nutritional status changes in students, including their dietary and psychological factors. This research aims to determine the relationship between stress levels, emotional eating behavior, eating disorders, and dietary patterns on the nutritional status of medical students at Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University. This study employs the quantitative observational research design with cross-Sectional approach, involving a total sample of 58 subjects selected using stratified random sampling the among medical students at Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University in June 2023. The research results show the most respondents have normal stress levels (96.5%), low emotional eating behavior scores (53.4%), negative eating disorder scores (69%), inadequate dietary patterns (70.7%), and normal nutritional status (53.4%). Bivariate analysis results indicate no significant relationship between stress levels (p-value= 0,600), emotional eating behavior (p-value=0,448), eating disorders (p-value=0,180), dietary patterns (p-value= 0,745) and nutritional status among the Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University medical students.
