Abstract
Increasing subsidized fuel oil, especially diesel fuel can affect technical and financial aspects of purse seine fisheries. Information on the implications of subsidized fuel price increases is vital to determine the impact on purse seine fisheries. This study aimed to determine the implications of subsidized fuel price increases on the technical and financial aspects of purse seine fisheries at Labuan Coastal Fishing Port, Banten Province. The research used a case study conducted in July-August at Labuan coastal fishig port, Pandeglang Regency, Banten Province. The primary data obtained from observations and interviews using questionnaires and secondary data obtained from books or other sources. Data analysis is based on aspects, including technical aspects and financial aspects. The results showed the increase in diesel prices affected the number of settings from 12-16 times to 8-12 times per trip and affected the amount of fish caught; before the increase in fuel prices, the average catch per trip was 2,075 kg to 1,998 kg. The NPV value has changed due to increased fuel prices from Rp 5,732,026,396 to Rp 1,559,035,530. Other financial aspects, such as R/C, have decrease from the 1.09 to 1.02. The increase in fuel prices affects to the financial aspects and reduces the profit of purse seine fisheries.

| Additional Information: | Kenaikan bahan bakar minyak bersubsidi, khususnya jenis solar yang digunakan oleh nelayan purse seine dalam operasi penangkapan ikan, dapat mempengaruhi aspek teknis dan finansial. Informasi mengenai implikasi kenaikan harga BBM bersubsidi sangat penting untuk mengetahui dampaknya terhadap perikanan purse seine. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui implikasi kenaikan harga BBM bersubsidi terhadap aspek teknis dan finansial perikanan purse seine di PPP Labuan, Provinsi Banten. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah studi kasus yang dilakukan pada bulan Juli-Agustus di PPP Labuan, Kabupaten Pandeglang, Provinsi Banten. Data yang dikumpulkan berupa data primer yang diperoleh dari hasil observasi dan wawancara dengan menggunakan kuesioner terhadap 6 orang nelayan pemilik kapal purse seine dan 18 orang nelayan pemilik kapal penganak. Data sekunder diperoleh dari hasil publikasi, laporan statistik atau sumber lain yang relevan. Analisis data dilakukan berdasarkan aspek-aspek, antara lain aspek teknis dan aspek finansial. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kenaikan harga BBM mempengaruhi jumlah setting dari 12-16 kali menjadi 8-12 kali per trip dan mempengaruhi jumlah hasil tangkapan. Sebelum kenaikan harga BBM rata-rata hasil tangkapan per trip sebesar 2.075 kg dan berkurang menjadi 1.998 kg setelah terjadi kenaikan BBM. Nilai NPV mengalami penurunan akibat kenaikan harga BBM dari Rp 6.026.607.286 menjadi Rp 2.777.810.864. Aspek finansial lainnya, seperti R/C, juga mengalami penurunan dari 1,11 menjadi 1,6. Kenaikan harga BBM berpengaruh terhadap aspek teknis dan finansial berupa penurunan keuntungan pada perikanan purse seine di PPP Labuan. | |||||||||
