Abstract
In this study, researchers examined parents' emotional support for the clean and healthy living behavior of children aged 4-6 years. This study aims to determine the relationship between parental emotional support and clean and healthy living behavior in children aged 4-6 years in kindergartens throughout Banjar Agung Serang-Banten sub-district. This research uses quantitative correlational methods. The data collection technique in this research is by distributing questionnaires. The sample used in this research was 62 children. The statistical data analysis technique is by using a correlation test which shows a significance level (2 tailed) of 0.000 < 0.05. Shows that parental emotional support is related to the clean and healthy living behavior of children aged 4-6 years. The results of the analysis have concluded that the correlation value is 0.475 and is in the interval 0.400-0.599. So it can be concluded that parental emotional support and clean and healthy living behavior have a relationship at a moderate level.

| Additional Information: | Pada penelitian ini peneliti meneliti dukungan emosional orang tua dengan perilaku hidup bersih dan sehat anak usia 4-6 tahun. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara dukungan emosional orang tua dengan perilaku hidup bersih dan sehat anak usia 4-6 tahun di TK Se-Kelurahan Banjar Agung Serang-Banten. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif korelasional. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini yaitu dengan menyebarkan kuesioner. Sampel yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu sebanyak 62 anak. Teknik analisis data statistic yaitu dengan menggunakan uji korelasi yang menunjukkan tingkat nilai signifikansi (2 tailed) sebesar 0,000 < 0,05. Menunjukkan bahwa dukungan emosional orang tua memiliki hubungan dengan perilaku hidup bersih dan sehat anak usia 4-6 tahun. Hasil analisis pun telah disimpulkan bahwa nilai korelasi sebesar 0,475 dan berada pada interval 0,400-0,599. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa dukungan emosional orang tua dan perilaku hidup bersih dan sehat memiliki hubungan pada tingkat yang sedang. | |||||||||
