Abstract

This research aims to improve children's science skills through experimental methods in children aged 5-6 years. This research uses quantitative experimental methods with a quasi-experimental type of research. Data collection techniques in this research were observation and documentation. The sample used in this study consisted of 30 children consisting of 15 children as the control class, and 15 children as the experimental class. The data analysis technique is statistical using the t test which shows a significance level of 0.003 < 0.05. This shows that experimental methods can have an influence on the science skills of children aged 5-6 years.

Additional Information: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan sains anak melalui metode eksperimen pada anak usia 5-6 tahun. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif eksperimen dengan jenis penelitian quasi eksperimen. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini observasi dan dokumentasi. Sampel yang digunakan pada penelitian ini berjumlah 30 anak yang terdiri dari 15 anak sebagai kelas kontrol, dan 15 anak sebagai kelas eksperimen. Teknik analisis data berupa statistik dengan menggunakan uji t yang menunjukkan tingkat signifikan 0,003 < 0,05. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa metode eksperimen dapat memiliki pengaruh terhadap keterampilan sains anak usia 5-6 tahun.
