Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of the everyone is a teacher here learning model on students' learning motivation and cognitive abilities in biology learning at SMA Negeri 1 Carenang, carried out on 06 February – 08 November 2023. This research uses a quasi-experimental method with a nonequivalent control design group design. The research population was class XI MIPA with a sample of 60 students selected using purposeful sampling. Data was taken using test and non-test techniques. The test technique used cognitive question instruments and the non-test technique used a learning motivation questionnaire instrument sheet. The research results showed that students' learning motivation was in the good category, namely 83.6% for the experimental class and the control class obtained an average score of 78.8% which was in the good category. Meanwhile, the experimental class test technique showed results of 82.5% in the very good category and the control class obtained results of 74.5% in the good category. The results of hypothesis testing on student learning motivation using the independent sample test showed a significance of 0.00, where 0.00 <0.05, so the hypothesis was accepted and testing the cognitive ability hypothesis using the paired test obtained a result of 0.01, where 0.01<0.05 So the hypothesis is accepted, meaning the everyone is a teacher here model has an influence on student learning motivation at SMA Negeri 1 Carenang.

Additional Information: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran everyone is a teacher here terhadap motivasi belajar dan kemampuan kognitif siswa pada pembelajaran biologi di SMA Negeri 1 Carenang, di lakukan pada tanggal 06 Februari – 08 November 2023. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuasi eksperimen dengan desain nonequivalent control group design. Populasi penelitian ini kelas XI Mipa dengan sampel sebanyak 60 siswa dipilih secara purposeive sampling. Data diambil dengan teknik tes dan non tes, Teknik tes menggunakan instrumen soal kognitif dan teknik non tes menggunakan lembar instrumen angket motivasi belajar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan motivasi belajar siswa masuk dalam kategori baik yaitu 83,6% untuk kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol memperoleh nilai rata-rata 78,8% masuk dalam kategori baik. Sedangkan untuk teknik tes kelas eksperimen menunjukkan hasil di 82,5% masuk kategori sangat baik dan kelas kontrol memperoleh hasil di 74,5% masuk dalam kategori baik. Hasil uji hipotesis motivasi belajar siswa dengan menggunakan uji indenpendent sample test menujukan signifikan 0,00 dimana 0,00 < 0,05 maka hipotesis diterima dan uji hipotesis kemampuan kognitif menggunakan uji paired test memperoleh hasil 0,01 dimana 0,01<0,05 maka hipotesis diterima maknanya model everyone is a teacher here berpengaruh terhadap motivasi belajar siswa di SMA Negeri 1 Carenang.
