Abstract
Education is one of the important things in the development of a country. Equal distribution of educational quality will affect the quality of a country's human resources, so the government implements a zoning system. Cikande District itself has only 1 public high school which cannot keep up with the number of school children there. The problem in this research is regarding the implementation of accepting new students through the zoning route at SMAN 1 Cikande which still encounters many obstacles. Starting from the lack of outreach to the community, inadequate facilities, age which means that prospective students, even though they are close to home, cannot enter, unclear acceptance radius and uneven distribution between state schools and the calculation of school age children in an area, especially in Cikande District. Objectives This research aims to see directly the implementation of student admission through the zoning route at SMAN 1 Cikande. The theory used in conducting this research uses Critical Systems Thinking using George C. Edward III's 4 indicators, namely communication, resources, disposition and organizational structure. The results of this research are the PPDB Zoning policy at SMAN 1 Cikande, socialization is not carried out directly to the community, the resources that have supported the implementation of zoning, the attitude of the implementer is professional and is able to handle obstacles by carrying out regular evaluations.

Additional Information: | Pendidikan salah satu hal yang penting dalam pembangunan suatu negara. Pemerataan kualitas pendidikan akan mempengaruhi kualitas SDM suatu negara maka pemerintah memeberlakukan sistem zonasi. Kecamatan Cikande sendiri memiliki jumlah SMA negeri hanya ada 1 yang belum dapat mengimbangi jumlah anak sekolah di sana. Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini yakni mengenai pelaksanaan penerimaan peserta didik baru melalui jalur zonasi di SMAN 1 Cikande yang masih ditemui banyak kendala. Mulai dari kurangnya sosialisasi kepada masyarakat, fasilitas yang belum memadai, umur yang menjadikan calon peserta didik walaupun dekat dari rumah tidak dapat masuk, tidak kejelasan radius penerimaan dan belum meratanya antara sekolah negeri dengan perhitungan anak usia sekolah di suatu wilayah terutama di Kecamatan Cikande.Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah guna melihat secara langsung mengenai implementasi penerimaan peserta didik melalui jalur zonasi di SMAN 1 Cikande. Teori yang digunakan dalam melakukan penelitian ini dengan menggunakan Critical System Thinking dengan menggunakan 4 indikator milik George C. Edward III yaitu komunikasi, sumber daya, disposisi, serta struktur organisasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah kebijakan PPDB Zonasi di SMAN 1 Cikande sosialisasi tidak langsung dilakukan ke masyarakat, sumber daya yang telah mendukung jalanya zonasi, sikap pelaksana yang profesional dan mampu menangani kendala dengan rutin melakukan evaluasi. | ||||||
