Abstract

This study aims to determine student learning outcomes through learning with group investigation model of the plant network structure subconcepts class VIII SMP PGRI 400 Tangerang . The method used in this research is descriptive using objective test questions , questionnaires and observation sheet as an instrument . The research was conducted in SMP PGRI 400 Tangerang VIII class first semester of the school year 2014/2015 . The sample used in this study were students of class VIII E. sampling technique used in this research is purposive sampling . According to the research results of the correlation analysis , explaining the value of a coefficient of 0.423 means that there is a fairly strong relationship between learning activities with students' cognitive abilities . Based on the value of the coefficient of determination , student learning activities contributed 20.4 % to the cognitive abilities of students in SMP PGRI 400 Tangerang , while 79.6 % are influenced by other factors . Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hasil belajar siswa melalui pembelajaran dengan model group investigation pada subkonsep struktur Jaringan tumbuhan kelas VIII SMP PGRI 400 Tangerang. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah deskriptif dengan menggunakan soal tes objektif, angket dan lembar observasi sebagai instrumen. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMP PGRI 400 Tangerang kelas VIII semester I tahun ajaran 2014/2015. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII E. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah simple random sampling. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang Hasil analisis korelasi, menjelaskan nilai koefisien sebesar 0,423 artinya terdapat hubungan yang cukup kuat antara aktivitas belajar dengan kemampuan kognitif siswa. Berdasarkan nilai koefisien determinasinya, aktivitas belajar siswa memberi kontribusi sebesar 20,4% terhadap kemampuan kognitif siswa di SMP PGRI 400 Tangerang, sedangkan 79,6% dipengaruhi oleh faktor-faktor lain.
