Abstract
The focus of this research is efforts to form habitus for teenagers at the Bina Pemuda Taruna Jaya Social Institution 1. The aim of this research is to determine efforts to form habitus for foster youth at the Bina Pemuda Taruna Jaya Social Institution 1. This type of research uses a case study method with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques use observation, interviews and documentation techniques. The informan selection technique used was a purposive technique. There are 2 (two) types of informants, namely foster youth and PSBR Taruna Jaya staff 1. The results of the research show that 1) There are 4 capitals that foster youth have, namely economic capital, social capital, symbolic capital, cultural capital 2) Social Institution Environment Bina Pemuda Taruna Jaya 1 is an arena where there is doxa, so there is symbolic violence during the habitus formation process at PSBR Taruna Jaya 1. 3) The habitus that the Bina Pemuda 1 Social Institution wants to form is a) healthy habitus, one of which is sports b) habitus professional, job training with PPKD, c) social intellectual habitus, with talent demonstrations, public speaking and English d) cooperative habitus, holding field trips e) social habitus, instilling values f) spiritual habitus, praying five times a day and reading Al-Quran. 4) The existence of rewards and punishments makes foster youth adapt to PSBR Taruna Jaya 1.

| Additional Information: | Fokus pada penelitian ini adalah upaya pembentukan habitus remaja di Panti Sosial Bina Remaja Taruna Jaya 1. Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui upaya pembentukan habitus remaja asuh di Panti Sosial Bina Remaja Taruna Jaya 1. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi kasus dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik pemilihan informan yang digunakan adalah teknik purposive. Terdapat 2 (dua) jenis informan yakni remaja asuh dan staf-staf PSBR Taruna Jaya 1. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 1) Terdapat 4 modal yang dimiliki remaja asuh, yakni modal ekonomi, modal sosial, modal simbolik, modal budaya 2) Lingkungan Panti Sosial Bina Remaja Taruna Jaya 1 sebagai arena yang terdapat doxa, sehingga terdapat kekerasan simbolik selama proses pembentukan habitus di PSBR Taruna Jaya 1. 3) Habitus yang ingin dibentuk oleh Panti Sosial Bina Remaja 1 adalah a) habitus sehat, salah satunya olah raga b) habitus profesional, pelatihan kerja dengan PPKD, c) habitus sosial intelektual, dengan demo bakat, public speaking, dan Bahasa Inggris d) habitus kerja sama, mengadakan field trip e) habitus sosial, penanaman nilai-nilai f) habitus spiritual, sholat lima waktu dan mengaji. 4) Adanya reward dan punishment membuat remaja asuh beradaptasi di PSBR Taruna Jaya 1. | |||||||||
