Abstract
This study aims to determine the relationship between internet addiction and academic procrastination. The approach used in this study is a quantitative approach with a type of correlational research. In addition, this study uses random sampling techniques to determine the sample. The sample for this study was 330 students from a total population of 1830. Based on the results of the analysis of the hypothesis test using the product moment obtained from the two variables, the correlation coefficient value (rxy) = 0.636 with a significance value of 0.000 (p < 0.05), according to the guidelines for the degree of relationship included in the strong correlation. While the coefficient of determination (r2) = 0.405 shows that the internet addiction variable (X) contributes 40.5% to the academic procrastination variable (Y), the remaining 59.5% is influenced by other factors not examined in this study.

| Additional Information: | Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mengetahui adanya hubungan antara adiksi internet dengan prokrastinasi akademik. pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian korelasional. Selain itu penelitian ini menggunakan teknik random sampling dalam menentukan sampel. Sampel penelitian ini sebanyak 330 siswa dari jumlah total populasi sebanyak 1830. Berdasarkan hasil analisis dari uji hipotesis menggunakan product-moment yang didapatkan dari kedua variabel diperoleh nilai koefisisen korelasi (rxy) = 0.636 dengan nilai signifikasi 0.000 (p < 0.05), menurut pedoman derajat hubungan termasuk kedalam korelasi kuat. Sementara nilai koefisisen determinasi (r2) = 0.405 yang menunjukkan bahwa variabel adiksi internet (X) memberikan kontribusi sebesar 40,5% terhadap variabel prokrastinasi akademik (Y), sisanya yakni 59,5% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain yang tidak diteliti pada penelitian ini. | |||||||||
