Abstract

Students who can concentrate while studying are quicker at grasping lesson material and can apply all the information they receive. The problem that occurs at SMKN 1 Bayah is the low concentration of learning that students have. This research is research and development (R&D) which aims to produce a snake and ladder game media product to increase the learning concentration of class XI students at SMK Negeri 1 Bayah. The development model used in this research is the 4D model which consists of 4 stages, namely define, design, develop and disseminate. The test results from the three experts mean that the average value for the Snakes and Ladders game product is 83.8%. Limited product trials were carried out on 29 students who were in the low level of learning concentration category, with a score of 92% in the "very feasible" category. Next, the researchers obtained pre-test and post-test score data from the results of limited trials with an N-Gain score of 0.7846 and an N-Gain percent of 78.4570. These results indicate that the increase in student learning concentration is high (g>0.7) and effective (N-Gain percent>76). So it can be concluded that the development of snakes and ladders game media to increase understanding of learning concentration is very fasible to be implemented for students.

Additional Information: Siswa yang bisa berkonsentrasi ketika sedang belajar, lebih cepat dalam menangkap materi pelajaran dan dapat menerapkan semua informasi yang diterimanya. Permasalahan yang terjadi di SMKN 1 Bayah adalah rendahnya konsentrasi belajar yang dimiliki oleh siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian dan pengembangan (R&D) yang bertujuan untuk menghasilkan sebuah produk media permainan ular tangga untuk meningkatkan konsentrasi belajar siswa kelas XI di SMK Negeri 1 Bayah. Model pengembangan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu model 4D yang terdiri dari 4 tahap yaitu define, design, develop, dan disseminate. Hasil uji dari ketiga ahli nilai rata-rata produk permainan ular tangga sebesar 83.8%. Uji coba produk terbatas dilakukan kepada 29 siswa yang berada pada kategori tingkat konsentrasi belajar rendah, dengan nilai perolehan 92% dengan kategori “sangat layak”. Selanjutnya peneliti memperoleh data skor pre-test dan post-test dari hasil uji coba terbatas dengan perolehan nilai N-Gain score 0.7846 dan N-Gain persen sebesar 78.4570. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan konsentrasi belajar siswa tergolong tinggi (g>0.7) dan efektif (N-Gain persen >76). Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa pengembangan media permainan ular tangga untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konsentrasi belajar sangat layak diimplementasikan pada siswa.
