Abstract
Increase knowledge and skills in applying technology that is appropriate to local resource conditions in a synergistic and environmentally sound manner. This research aims to determine the relationship between the role of agricultural instructors as rice assistants in Kasemen Village at the Kasemen Agricultural Extension Center, to determine farmers' knowledge in applying jajar legowo technology in lowland rice farming in Kasemen Village. The type of research used is descriptive with a quantitative approach, using a survey method, with the research location determined purposively considering that Kasemen Village is a village that uses the Jajar Legowo planting system which is still lacking. Data collection uses observation, interviews and questionnaires. The technique for collecting respondents uses the sampling method, sampling is used to determine whether the sample is the object to be studied or the data source is very broad. Meanwhile, to analyze the relationship between the roles of agricultural instructors, Spearman Rank Correlation is used. Internal factors related to the formation of farmers' perceptions include factors related to a person's drive and goals in interpreting a stimulus, external factors, farmers' perceptions are influenced by stimuli influenced by certain objects or events, assistance from other objects (objects, people, processes). The role of agricultural instructors as teachers received a score of 75.8, which is in the high category. The role of agricultural instructors as analysts received a score of 72.5. | Additional Information: | Meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan dalam menerapkan teknologi yang sesuai dengan kondisi sumber daya lokal secara sinergis dan berwawasan lingkungan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan peran penyuluh pertanian sebagai pendamping padi di Desa Kasemen pada Balai Penyuluhan Pertanian Kasemen, mengetahui pengetahuan petani dalam penerapan teknologi jajar legowo pada usahatani padi sawah di Desa Kasemen. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif, menggunakan metode survei, dengan lokasi penelitian ditentukan secara sengaja mengingat Desa Kasemen merupakan desa yang menggunakan sistem tanam Jajar Legowo yang masih kurang. Pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara dan angket. Teknik pengumpulan responden menggunakan metode sampling, pengambilan sampel digunakan untuk menentukan apakah sampel tersebut merupakan objek yang akan diteliti atau sumber data yang sangat luas. Sedangkan untuk menganalisis hubungan peran penyuluh pertanian digunakan Korelasi Rank Spearman. Faktor internal yang berhubungan dengan terbentuknya persepsi petani antara lain faktor yang berkaitan dengan dorongan dan tujuan seseorang dalam menafsirkan suatu stimulus, faktor eksternal, persepsi petani dipengaruhi oleh rangsangan yang dipengaruhi oleh benda atau peristiwa tertentu, bantuan dari objek lain (benda, orang, proses). Peran penyuluh pertanian sebagai guru memperoleh skor 75,8 termasuk dalam kategori tinggi. Peran penyuluh pertanian sebagai analis mendapat skor 72,5.
