Abstract
Children are national assets who need education and guidance from the people around them, especially mothers. The choice of parenting style is not chosen and used haphazardly. However, it is adjusted to the knowledge you have which is influenced by three things, namely understanding something, habits implemented within oneself and experience gained from the process of life. Young mothers still don’t have enough experience, but are trying to carry out their roles and responsibilities. This research aims to determine the construction of young mother’s knowledge in parenting patterns in Sindangsari Village. The method used is qualitative with a case study type of research. The results of the research explain that the contructions of young mother’s knowledge in parenting patterns in Sindangsari Village occurs through a social contructions process, namely externalization, objectavation, and internalization. Young mothers experience obstacles such as difficulty controlling emotions and difficulty controlling children so that they remain within their parents reach. It was concluded that the parenting patterns applied by young mothers were driven by belief factors. Where, young mother learn from the past, namely the treatment they receive or learn from the surrounding situations.

| Additional Information: | Anak merupakan aset bangsa yang membutuhkan didikan dan bimbingan dari orang disekitar, terutama ibu. Pemilihan pola asuh tidak dipilih dan digunakan secara asal-asalan. Namun disesuaikan dengan pengetahuan dimiliki yang dipengaruhi oleh tiga hal yaitu pemahaman terhadap sesuatu, kebiasaan yang diterapkan dalam diri, dan pengalaman yang didapatkan dari proses kehidupan. Ibu muda masih belum memiliki cukup pengalaman, namun berusaha menjalankan peran dan tanggungjawabnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui konstruksi pengetahuan ibu muda dalam pola asuh anak di Desa Sindangsari. Metode yang digunakan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian studi kasus. Hasil penelitian menjelaskan konstruksi pengetahuan ibu muda dalam pola asuh anak di Desa Sindangsari terjadi melalui proses konstruksi sosial yaitu eksternalisasi, objektivasi dan internalisasi. Selama proses mengasuh anak terdapat hambatan seperti ibu muda sulit mengontrol emosi, dan ibu muda kesulitan dalam mengontrol anak agar tetap berada dalam jangkauannya. Disimpulkan bahwa pola asuh anak yang diterapkan oleh ibu muda didorong oleh faktor keyakinan. Dimana, ibu muda belajar dari masa lalu yaitu perlakuan yang diterima atau belajar dari situasi sekitar. | |||||||||
