Abstract

Practical activities often use dangerous chemicals which have an impact on various aspects, including health aspects and environmental pollution. This is a problem and concern that is interesting enough to find a solution immediately so that it can overcome or minimize the occurrence of this pollution. Green chemistry is a field of chemistry that focuses on preventing pollution due to the use of dangerous chemicals and is an appropriate way to reduce laboratory waste due to lab residues that cannot be reused and thus become waste that can pollute the environment. The aim of this research is to develop a teaching material for 8E learning cycle practicum instructions with a green chemistry perspective on colloidal materials. This development research uses the ADDIE model (Analyze. Design, Develop, Implement. Evaluate). The results of the research show that the learning cycle 8E practical practical instructions with a green chemistry perspective on colloidal materials are valid and suitable for use with the V value obtained being 0.90. The results of 40 students' responses to the practical instructions obtained very good results, namely 86%. This shows that the learning cycle 8E practical practical instructions with a green chemistry perspective on colloidal materials are declared valid and suitable for use as a learning medium.

Additional Information: Kegiatan praktikum, seringkali menggunakan kimia berbahaya yang berdampak terhadap berbagai aspek, diantaranya aspek kesehatan dan pencemaran lingkungan. Hal ini menjadi masalah dan perhatian yang cukup menarik untuk dapat segera ditemukan penyelesaian sehingga dapat mengatasi atau meminimalisir terjadinya pencemaran tersebut. Green chemistry adalah bidang kimia yang berfokus pada pencegahan polusi akibat penggunaan bahan-bahan kimia yang berbahaya dan merupakan cara yang tepat sebagai sarana pengurangan limbah laboratorium akibat sisa-sisa praktikum yang tidak dapat digunakan kembali sehingga menjadi limbah yang dapat mencemari lingkungan. Tujuan dilakukannya penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengembangkan suatu bahan ajar petunjuk praktikum learning cycle 8E berwawasan green chemistry pada matei koloid. Penelitian pengembangan ini menggunakan model ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, Evaluate). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan petunjuk praktikum learning cycle 8E berwawasan green chemistry pada matei koloid ini valid dan layak digunakan dengan nilai V yang diperoleh yaitu sebesar 0,90. Hasil respon 40 peserta didik terhadap petunjuk praktikum memperoleh hasil sangat baik yakni sebesar 86%. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa petunjuk pr.aktikum learning cycle 8E berwawasan green chemistry pada matei koloid ini dinyatakan valid dan layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran.
